Failed in less than 4 1/2 months

I got this timer during the spring, and sometime in the middle of the summer it totally failed. It took me a couple of months to notice because this is my elderly parents' house, and it turns out that's why my garden wasn't growing so well. It is super hard to screw onto the faucet, so it's a big deal that I had to pull it out and replace it with another one that I got in a 2-pack from a membership warehouse store.

My opinion after owning this for over 2 years

I purchased this over 2 years ago, in May of 2023. It was a lifesaver when we went on a vacation in the summer; the Orbit 2 watered as programmed. I especially use it when I'm home, watering different areas of the lawn for a certain amount of time. I was previously forgetting to turn off the sprinklers; now I put them on the Auto Timer so that they shut off automatically according to the time that I set. Short lived

Screen stopped working after 4 months. Blank screen. Very difficult to program. Program stopped working a few days before screen went out. Skip this Item!

No good

Opened the package only to find the dial will not work. It just spins. Wrongly assembled! Wasted money! I am going to return it.

Extremely difficult to set. Impossible to verify if it has been set. If you try to review settings, it resets to 000.000 and you have to reset EVERYTHING does not shift between modes or settings. If you do manage to go to the second outlet, it erases everything.

Hire an engineer to program

Incredibly difficult to program this device. Also, if you just want to water off schedule, it’s just as difficult to get going. Have owned 4 different models and brands before and never have they been so difficult to get going. Maybe take a note from Steve Jobs and make it simple. Engineers that make this device so complex, needs to hand it to a normal person to see how difficult it is to program

Lasted 4 years

Was working well and lasted for about 4 years until i noticed significant leaking from the inside of the casing. I know nothing last forever but was hoping it would last near 10 yrs.

I've bought lots of timers over the years and bought 2 of these recently. 1 was defective right out of the box. The programming is more confusing than prior versions of this model (too many options) and the instructions don't help. But most infuirating is that when I order online from Lowes the warehouse or store clerk always pulls the most beat up item in stock.
