BTWN8 10 camera system

Signal is poor and you cant loop through cameras to increase the signal like you could in the previous version I had. Looking for an antenna to boost signal with no luck. not sure why yall removed the option to loop through cameras to help with signal but it not a good idea.

I have Night owl in my home and outside no issues ever and I don't pay any monthly fees these work great for me thank you

No Backup Feature

Garbage system. The hard drive is prone to failure with no feature to add a backup drive to protect data.

Disappointed

You can't view cameras without them turning off needs firmware update

I have scumbag neighbors who like to rev their truck and 4 wheeler engines all night long these cameras have been getting it all. I can’t wait to go file at district court now that I have some evidence.

Mediocre Image recognition

I've had 2 of these systems for over 2 years. The image recognition algorithms send notifications on: tree branch shadows, squirrels, cats, dogs, and other animals as Human" notifications. "Activity" zone settings are useless , as I continue to get notifications from images anywhere in the camera FOV. Cord length will be the only limiting factor

Im not great with electronics. This is simple simple simple. I plugged it in, hung them up and was done inside of 20mins. Going to take some fine tuning, but, not much.

cameras do fine except four out of six drop out at night. would not recommend until problem solved.

Poor Quality

Purchased in November 2022 and have had nothing but connectivity and poor performance for 13 months. Cameras rarely stay connected even 1 room away let alone the other side of the house. The app is super unreliable and often unusuable.

I would like to return this system. I am disappointed that it will not let me make the adjustments that it said I can. Even thought it took my security password. This is the 4th or 3rdrd system I have had and would like to go back to a hard wired system. I have always like my night owl system in the past, but this one I am disappointed in. I have just received it a week ago and would like to return it for a hard wired one.

8 camara system what a joy.

Product easy to install. Set up was simple. Clarity is top notch. Over all very very happy with system. One minor issue, they go off non stop at first. This took a fair amount of time getting the settings right. Only other thing I would ask for is a way to shut them down for the work day easy. Meaning unlock, open app, disarm. at night the reverse

I bought this roughly a month ago and so afar I have been very happy with the system. It has been easy to set up and get the cameras working. I do not have them all up yet but am working through them as I get the power run for each one.

Had trouble with the NVR.Cameras work well.

The first NVR that I received with my WNIP2 system would not get to the startup page and had to return it. The warranty replacement NVR made it to the Startup Wizard and was now able to complete the NVR and camera setup. At first the mouse was working but the menu on the monitor didn't seem to be working. Not what it seems

Purchased 2 extra wireless cameras to make a total of 5. Should be great, says 10 channel, right? It will only work 4 cameras. I'm sure it probably says that somewhere in the fine print, but why call it 10 channel if it will only do 4? Then, had a camera eating through battery life, even with 4 batteries in it (I had 2 extra from the extra camera that I ordered that it can't use, remember?). Still not user friendly

I was so excited when I read that I could pair my cameras up via bluetooth, without having to connect the system to a monitor! Then I had a problem with one camera showing my green plants as pink. #1 The instructions and website are not helpful and I finally had to use Chat.
