Nice features for the price

Ok. So I bought 2 of these cameras. I didn't want to pay a subscription fee. I bought two micro sd cards 128gb to use for storeage and recording. I like the fact i can take pictures and they get saved to my gallery on my cell also the manual recording also goes to my gallery on my cell . Sofar 6 months I've had these cameras and they seem to work good. Sometimes a little behind but that could be my cell cause I have 1gb wifi and it is high speed. Not great

I had a bad experience and got a written response twice otherwise it was a computer generated response. Could not get the camera to ever save a picture

Still Mediocre image recognition

Had ten of these cameras for several years, and image recognition algorithms are terrible. Dogs, cats, opossum, Tree shadows, alert as "human". And FOV blanking in "Activity Zone" does NOT WORK.

Poor battery performance

The NightOwl battery camera battery life is very poor and doesn't come close to their advertised battery performance. Even with 4 batteries each camera and no recording settings the battery life doesn't come close to their marketing. Just be prepared to charge the batteries and have surplus batteries on hand while charging or stay away from these and install wired cameras.

Best of the legacy cameras

The 140 ultra wide angle view is far superior to the standard 80, especially if you are monitoring the sidewalk and street outside your building. The latter is useful indoors, but I would choose all ultra wides for anything outdoors.

I bought this camera to add onto my system. For some reason it loses its signal at least once a day. Not sure why

Solid value for the money.

I bought this system after my last one was stolen, and was pleasantly surprised at how far security camera systems have improved. The picture on these 1080 cameras is excellent, set up was fairly easy. While the basic wifi camera has a decent angle, I much prefer the ultra wide angle camera for covering a much larger area. They are nice.....when they work.

I should have bought a wired system. They are continually dropping the signal then coming back at random. I have the Night Owl DVR that came with 8 cameras. I bought these last two to complete the system. The picture quality is great. However, all 10 cameras drop the signal at random. This makes the "security" cameras not so secure. It is not a range problem. The one that drops the most is less than 15 feet from the DVR. As I am typing this 3 out of the 10 cameras are offline. The monitor says "...

I bought these with an eight camera kit and put them in where I didn't want to run wires, I did end up putting the extended antenna on them but now they work great

cameras do fine except four out of six drop out at night. would not recommend until problem solved.

Picture quality excellent but motion recording

The recording quality is not accurate in the sensitive mode it records with nothing moving and on both medium and sensitive mode it does not always pick an object when moving 30 to 50 feet from the cameras, like a passing car or person.

Good camera for the price

Installed a week ago. Night vision works really good. Quality picture.

Battery operated camera

Charged battery as recommended for 3 plus hours. Won't hold a charge for longer than three or four hours. Also, line in picture as if the lenses are cracked.

multiple problems right out of the box, apparently not tested after whatever refurbishing was done. Did not recognize hard drive, not picking up or recording audio, red speckles across the pictures, not able to connect via app. Previous system I had purchased new had no issues until a lightning strike

Is there a thing called dis-improvement?

It didn't work for me. In fact, I'm now a few steps backwards. First, it may work as an augmentation at the camera side of things. I could not use to for that purpose as the newer cameras have no antenna port. Second, don't bother trying to augment signal strength at the NVR. It simply didn't work for me. In fact, I seem to lose signal initially. Third, trying to go back to the standard antenna configuration was a big setback, where I'm not re-establishing all my camera connections to get ba...

Bought these 4k Wi-Fi cameras and stopped working within 2months

Had trouble with the NVR.Cameras work well.

The first NVR that I received with my WNIP2 system would not get to the startup page and had to return it. The warranty replacement NVR made it to the Startup Wizard and was now able to complete the NVR and camera setup. At first the mouse was working but the menu on the monitor didn't seem to be working. Great Camera with "Wire Free" Convenience

It fulfills it purpose of being a completely wire free camera that you can place anywhere within the range of the wireless recorder. Good features and sensitivity, and the ability to "Speak" through the Camera speaker and "Listen" using the Mobile Application.
