Temporary Coffee maker

The coffee maker did not even last 5 months..It s brewing water only and the stupid instructions manual says that it can be caused by not putting ground coffee in the filter off course I put coffee in the basket.

Bought this in January to replace the previous Mr. Coffee maker I had for 15 yrs. The glass carafe is not nearly as good. It spills down the side as you pour and the tip of the pour spout already broke!

I am here looking for my 3rd one of these makers in about 10 years. I like my coffee strong but not over extracted, and freshly brewed. I have 0 time to fiddle with gadgets. This little coffee maker fits my requirements exactly. It is small, so I can make a single mug or share with my spouse without cold leftovers. I've had my 5-cup coffee maker for over a year now. I love it. It is the perfect size for my galley kitchen. Makes the right amount of perfect coffee for me. I use it every single morning. I program it the night before and every morning the aroma of fresh brewed coffee lures me out of bed. I have owned Mr. Coffee brand coffee makers for decades, I don' even know for how long. I'm a loyal Mr. Coffee brand user.

Terrible Design

Would Not Recommend

With the large top the coffee filters sit low in the basket making it easier for the filters to fold over allowing the grounds to go through, plus it's harder to put in and take out paper filters than the past model along with taking out the coffee pot itself. They should of stuck with the design where Led and buttons where on the bottom and the smaller top. I won't buy this model again.

Bought this 5-cup coffee maker less than a month ago. We like the greater capacity (5 cups vs 4 cups.) We wanted the auto shut-off feature (which works well.) The top opening to the glass carafe needs to be larger. I have relatively small hands, and it's difficult for me to fit one hand inside to clean the inside walls of the carafe. Dribble Pot

I have had the advanced brew 5 cup programmable coffee maker for one week, replacing the 4 cup basic Mr. Coffee that finally died. I love getting up to my coffee already brewed. What I don't like is I am unable to pour water to fill the pot without spilling it all over the counter, as well as spilling coffee trying to pour into my cup. I have tried pouring slow, fast, to know avail. My old pot did not do this.

Perfect for one coffee drinker in the home!

I have had this coffee maker for almost 10 years. It’s had a great lifetime and was disappointed to see it struggling. It began leaking when the auto start comes on (not any other time does it leak, just when it begins dripping. Offer into the carafe). I’m not sure what’s causing that but I’m very happy to see it’s still available in case it can’t be repaired. Please advise if it may be repairable. Thank you,

Worst Coffe Pot I Have Ever Owned

I bought this coffee pot a month ago and within a week it started leaking out of the bottom when it is brewing. Also, the design of the of the pot makes it almost impossible not to spill coffee when pouring. In addition, area the holds water has such a small opening that it is very hard not to spill water. Even at the inexpensive price you are better purchasing a different coffee maker!

Hey, what's the deal??? I just purchased this (JWX3) to replace my old Mr. Coffee 5-cup machine. The picture online and clearly shows Water Windows on both sides of the coffee maker. The User Manual refers to "dual water windows" on Page 10. But the one I just opened only has a water window on the right side. I have it placed on my counter so that the left side of the coffee maker is most convenient to see when filling the reservoir. This is extremely disappointing!

I like everything about this, smaller footprint than the 4-cup, nice features, but when you break the carafe (and you will -- very fragile glass) you have to throw the whole thing away since replacements are not available.
