Would Not RecommendThis is a nice-looking feeder, and I was happy with it until I just went out to refill it. The paint on the top cover and flowers has faded with some bare metal spots. I also saw that the cover had some rust on the edges. This is after just 3 months.

Stick with the plastic base
Would Not RecommendI thought this feeder would be an upgrade from the feeder I had with the plastic base. I was wrong. The color on the metal base faded within a couple of weeks. The glass jar was fine, but most disappointing was how quickly the metal base rusts. This will turn your hummingbirds away. I cleaned it weekly, never going more than 2 weeks. It progressively got worse. After 2 months, I have to throw it away. I bought 2 of them at the beginning of the season, and both have since been recycled. I'm g...

Beautiful but RUSTED
Would Not RecommendI bought this and another glass feeder with metal reservoirs. Both are rusted and smell metallic. I've seen a decline in our bird visitors, hopefully they didn't get poisoned. Would love my money back.

Would Not RecommendBut these 7 months ago. Both rusted within 4 months outside. I even stored them inside dry during the summer. They looked nice for a while. Cant return to Lowes because I dont have receipt. If company that makes them where smart they would make all the bottom plastic.

Disappointed in the quality
Would Not RecommendIt looked great for about 6 months but the part where the hummingbirds feed has already rusted and it's past the time to get a refund. If there was a way to replace the rusted part I would keep using the feeder.

Rust!!!
Would Not RecommendI purchased a feeder, very similar to this one 15 years ago, It was great all that time, then it got broken. I was happy to get this one because it seemed the same so I thought it would be just as good. What a disappointment!!! The bottom is full of rust and even with changing the water often it stinks like rust and I’m afraid it will make the birds sick. Not cool!
