trouble since day 1
Would Not Recommendthis product cuts off every 7-10 days....it takes me 5 minutes min. to reset it each time it cuts off (this past weekend i had to reset it 10 times!!!!!)....normally the screen just goes black....sometimes the screen looks normal but it will not work, so i have to reset it basically every 7-10 days at most....EVERYTHING on it has been replaced 3 times....still NOTHING!!!!!!!!

Love that the temperature can be set
Would RecommendI was sick of always heaving to wait for the water to get to the correct water temp. This Moen smart shower control keeps the water at a constant temperature no mater what. Then add in that I can now tell Alexa to turn on my shower as I am walking into my Master Bathroom is just a hole other type of special. I love this shower controller & valve. 4 Starts because it is expansive for everything needed to install it in the end. But I think it was worth it. A GREAT addition to my smart house.

Do not buy!
Would Not RecommendTwice in one week this has not turned on, requiring reset. There should be some type of back up option to allow you to bypass the smart valve so you can turn on your shower. If you have 2 showers in your home do not install this smart shower system in both! I would absolutely not buy this again!!!!

2nd one I've had that didn't work
Would Not RecommendFirst one died after less than a year. Bought a new one and put it in. Screen came on for 5 minutes but would never respond to buttons. Died after 5 minutes and won't come back on at all now.

Would Not RecommendHad this for the best part of a year and it worked ok, but now has quit all together - no response on the control panel. Won't come on or reset. For the amount of money this thing cost to get and have install, it should last much longer!!

Would Not RecommendHad this thing for a better part of a year. Hasn't worked right after month 1. Shuts off all the time. Getting new pieces sent to me already. Just a lot of money spent on another unreliable piece. "Smart"

Would Not RecommendI’ve replaced 8 of these. They don’t last more than a year. It’s nice when it works but when it breaks you better have a second shower because nothing will fix it. You have to replace it.

Would Not RecommendWorked for best part of a year - then started needing valve resets (great when valve is in crawlspace) and now after reset it just spits a little water and dies. Would RecommendThe control panel sounds as if the speakers are blown. I reached out to Moen to ask for help and got no reply. On top of that, the Apple HomeKit is barebones… no option to control with Siri (even though every other HomeKit accessory allows this) and no integration with scenes (I was really looking forward to upgrading my “Good Morning” scene with a hot shower). Overall, I don’t regret going with this system, but I wish it was better implemented given the expense.

Slow to update from the app to the product
Would RecommendI moved into a house and just used the previous pre-sets. After a month I started connecting everything and setting everything up and it works great and easy to get the temperature to where I need it. Over all great product just wish the app to product updates were faster and not require me to reset my app every time to enact the updates.

Good e-valve, setup instructions need help
Would RecommendFinally got it installed in remodeled bathroom. Physical installation straight forward. Instructions for configuration were hard to find, too brief and problematic. Setting date/language etc. ok on first pass. But, after rest, I couldn’t get to the setting to shut the screen off when idle and was forced to install the U app on my phone to resolve issues. Every configuration option available should be easily found on the controller itself.
