Not worth the trouble

It works manually but never connects to the internet.

Do not buy this

Screen now has a large black void in the middle, We can't see anything on it. Now we have to remodel our whole shower or keep buying new screens every few years until they are no longer available. It only lasted 4 years.

NO Flow Control

Please do Not Buy. Had to replace my last Moen touch controller, And this was the only option. You cannot control the flow of water, which is ridiculous in a shower valve. Find another product

Moen U Controller

This is the controller for the Moen four valve digital unit. During the pandemic, I couldn’t get the desert beige color that I wanted and I don’t like the flat black. I am 70 years old and it’s a little hard to see the buttons. Functionally it’s great I love having the thermostat it control It’s the best Schauer I’ve ever had.

High Expectations. Unit DOA, so I can’t rate it

I bought this for my new home in June of 2022, and we are just now commissioning all the systems and trying to move in. The controller never powered up and is DOA. Will be pursuing a replacement, but a massive disappointment as this is our dream bathroom. Was worried when I decided on this tech because the reviews are mediocre at best, but I’m an optimist. Right now I’m wishing I’d listened to my gut instead of my wallet and bought a Kohler.

Same issues

I’ve had my 4 port shower system for a year now. After the first 3 hours trying to get it to work with an iPhone and google home it worked great for about 5 months. Occasional locked screen but easy for me to turn off/on. Then a firmware was installed and it hasn’t worked right since. Could only get google to control it by assigning the shower to a dummy room and telling google to tirn that room on/off which means you can’t have it control which user preset to turn on. Always issues, never works seamlessly

I've had so many problems connecting the app to the controller over the last two years. Now I can't even log into the app or create an account. The settings I made two years ago are stuck. Such convoluted instructions that do not work. "Connect to controller wifi". Ok, I did. Nothing happens. This tech needs some help especially at this price point.

Constantly blacks out and requires reset

For the price of the stinking thing, you think you could get a shower easily. NOPE. Our controller constantly blacks out and I have to reset it. I do NOT recommend.

Controller Not Working

Unreliable.

This is a cool add to a bathroom shower in theory. However, it constantly goes dead and you have to turn the breaker off to reset it. For me this means going out into my garage. Who wants to do that when all they want to do is take a shower? Plus, how do you shower if the power is out? I regret the day I said yes to my Morn rep when he suggested this product. Completely shuts off every few days

Had 2 of these installed in our new build home - after about 6 months, similar to other reviewers, the screen shuts off every few days and we have to go into the ceiling to unplug/reset it. Renders the shower useless. Reading other reviews tells me it is the Moen system and not an issue with our electrical system. Unable to hook to Alexa as well.

Awesome System!

I completely remodeled my bathroom 3 years ago and installed this controller along with the rest of the Moen components. It has worked flawlessly. We love it so much that I am currently installing the same system in my new home.

Modern Sleek and Intuitive Shower Design

I installed this Moen setup when remodeling our Master shower. I wanted to add the body sprays but didn't like that I would have to add a separate on/off handles for each set of body sprays. I imagined a clean modern design for this shower and installing this Moen unit eliminated the need for additional handles being installed on the wall and gave it a really clean look. No hot water

Installed in our newly constructed home. System is set at 100 degrees but get no hot water. Only gets up to 64 degrees. It's useless at this point. New home, new shower, can't use it...

HORRIBLE

Do NOT buy this - nothing but trouble! No water AGAIN today - NO idea why and NO ONE at Moen can answer the phone to help me. This is a TERRIBLE product!

Awful

We had this installed as part of a master bathroom install. It has been 18 months now And sometimes it work and sometimes it doesn't. Pass on this.

Cool product -- when it works.

When it's properly set up and working, this product is really cool (although fair warning: it doesn't work without power, so during a power outage you will not have a working shower -- big caveat). The reason I can only give this 2 stars, though, is that it is a pure nightmare to set up and keep connected.
