It's sticky!
Cleaned patio furniture and they appear alot better.

Would Not RecommendDespite the name, this is NOT teak oil. It goes on like maple syrup and leaves a shiny, sticky finish. It will ruin your teak furniture. AVOID at all costs. Stick with true teak oil.

Would Not RecommendTeak (and teak oil) by itself is food safe. I have made a teak cutting board as a wedding gift and the wife uses it daily. I bought this to make some planters for decoration using Cedar. Not only is it not food safe, but it is not absorbed easily, yielding a sticky surface and must be cleaned up with mineral spirits. On top of that, it looks like varnish has been applied. This will not make wood look natural. Returning the unopened cans I purchased.

Would RecommendWe have an outdoor patio that is made of teak. After a year in the sun, rain, cold etc the wood color was looking washed out and dirty. We gave it a light sand on a few chairs and the loungers we pressure washed, both ways work. The sanded version looks identical with exception of the loungers having some small raised wood from pressure washing. Not very noticeable you have to really look. this is not penetrating teak oil
Would Not RecommendAlthough the label promotes it as teak oil, this is deceptive. it is a film-forming varnish and will not come off easily the next time you wish to apply teak oil. if you are applying it to teak furniture and like that shiny finish that will last longer than a coat of regular oil,this is your product
