What Customers Are Saying
The dehumidifier effectively reduces excess moisture, quickly lowering humidity levels and improving air quality. The large capacity bucket and option for continuous drainage provide convenience. However, some users have experienced durability issues, with the unit stopping working after 1-2 years. The weight and design can also make the water bucket difficult to empty. While the majority of users are highly satisfied with the dehumidifier's performance, prospective buyers should be aware of the potential concerns.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comes with an instruction manual super easy setup. It comes with a handle to help pick it up the unit is heavy so you'll need to be careful while picking it up and moving it around. If you live in a place that's humid and you have maybe a work shop/shed /tiny home this is perfect.

Definitely does the job!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little nervous at first, but after unboxing, this was fairly easy set. This has amazing quality and feels very heavy duty. It also is very quiet. All in all the air quality is better now that I’ve added this to my basement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Midea 50 pt. Cube Dehumidifier with Built‑in Pump, MAD50PE1QWT‑S for a few weeks now, and it has honestly made a noticeable difference in my home. I live in a very humid area, and before this, the air always felt heavy and uncomfortable. Since turning this on, the space feels fresher, and even my allergies seem a bit better. What I like most is how easy it is to use. The controls are simple, and the built-in pump is a huge p...

Fast and not super noisy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a big capacity dehumidifier it’s actually compact. You can make it smaller if you plug it to drainage mode. It works fast. I used it for work out sessions at home.

Inaccurate humidity readings
I bought the midea dehumidifier about 2 months ago. It consistently reads the humidity level in my home 12% to 15% lower than it actually is, based on 2 different brands of humidity readers. (which read the same for the humidity in the house). I bought the first reader to help me determine which room to use the machine in at any given time. I bought the second reader because the first was reading way higher than what the Midwa was reading the humidity as. They both match in the reading of the h...

Does not dehumidify
Would Not RecommendHome humidity at 72 percent ran this on maximum for 24 hours and barely has any water whatsoever. Does not even drop the humidity 1 percent. Avoid buying this unless you just want to waste your money.

Works well for my needs.
Would RecommendI have had no issue for the first year of use. This keeps my 800 sq ft house in the PNW at 40 % humidity nicely. I just have to empty the bucket set to level 4 every 3-5 days depending. I have thermometers in three rooms that also show the humidity level and they are all always close unless I'm taking a shower or cooking. I just dump the bucket into the tub whenever it's full. My only complaint so far is I wish it was a little more quiet. I liked this design better than the quieter ones for emp...

Died after 2 years
Would Not RecommendWorked really well for 2 years, then the coolant line failed (seal corroded out by the moisture it removes). Overall the design for filters is poor, as you're wrapping the 2 filters along the cooling coils, and 90 degree corners- makes high risk of bending it- you've got to be delicate/ careful. 2 years later, the fan works well, but corrosion on the bottom elements caused refrigerant leak, so now it just ices on the sides. I'm going to buy a different design/manufacturer for my next one...

Do not buy it!
Would Not RecommendI bought this 5 days ago and installed it in my basement and the humidity sensor was defective. You indicated that the humidity was only 30% when I bought it because the humidity is over 50%. I complained to Midea and they admitted that they’re getting many customer complaints about the unit. Do not buy it.

Dont waste your $$
Would Not RecommendWorked great for 2 summers. Bought in 2023, well kept, well stored, clean environment. After maximum of what would be 6 months of use, it quit collecting water. Midea will email and give you things to try but outside of that, if not within first 12 months of purchase, no help. I now have a $300 fan. Not recommended.

Bad product, even worse company
Would Not RecommendDehumidifier lasted less than 1yr before the pump stopped working, being 100% disabled I am unable to manual empty the bucket. Contacted the company, and they refused to honor warranty... now I'm stuck with defective product that is not functioning as designed & advertised. Also, even before the pump broke I was having issues getting the system to active. Had to manually turn it on because when the basement was at 60% RH or higher, the dehumidifier would read between 30-to-40%.
