Most Reliable Tool Brand Out There

I've had metabo tools ever since their rebrand, and I've had some Hitachi before that. However, I've owned and used basically every tool brand out there, and I have yet to find a brand as tough, reliable, capable, and affordable as metabo. I'm a professional, and I have left this driver in the rain multiple times, it has been dropped of a roof countless times without number, and has basically been abused in any way a tool could on the job site. Not dependable, zero stars for customer service

Same experience as other one and two star reviews here. After very little use the forward reverse switch no longer worked properly or not at all. Sent for repair to MetaboHPT where it sat for 3 months only to be told, "sorry not covered due to wear and tear" even though paperwork says lifetime warranty. I have a lot of power tool experience and I would not use this brand if I depended on them for my work.

Super smooth and quieter then the rest.

It has to be the most ergonomic and smoothest impact I have used. I own a Ryobi Impact and have used both Milwaukee and Makita in my everyday life and the feel in hand is unmatched. It may not be quite as powerful as Milwaukee but I don't need it to be.

Perfect all around tool

Newer Triple Hammer 18V even better than before

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have replaced most of our other colored impact drivers with Metabo HPT over the last 7-8yrs. Love the older Triple hammer. This newer bolt and the newer 2.5/5.0 Battery is even better. Great power, features and durability. New batteries with the rubber over mold are easier to handle and absorb falls.

Great Impact

Bought this on sale a couple months ago, super comfortable, great speed adjustment and can use it for some delicate work too. I have some Ryobi, M18 and M12 impacts and this is easily my favorite.

Should call this drill "The Honey Badger"

This drill is my 'Go to' drill for all things drilly. I think they should call it the Honey Badger because it is small, tough, and doesn't take any (*#@ from any bolt or screw that you need to drive into the sheetrock, through the stud and into the brick of the outside wall. HA! Seriously, we use this to attach cabinets to the wall and constantly wonder if we hit the stud because it drives the 3" screws so effortlessly. Triplet good.

After the first triple hammer died an early death, the replacement has been perfect. Light, ergonomic, and powerful. Quiet enough that I use my surge much less for cabinetry. All in all, would buy again.

The only impact driver my hands can touch

Metabo HPT's Triple Hammer impact driver is unmatched. It's compact, light, and ergonomical perfection yet powers through everything you throw at it with ease. I can't stand using any other driver than this one. I'll be buying a second one to keep under my pillow in case of emergency.
