Good feature

Maytag Centennial washer & Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely didsappointed in you Maytag.. Your products use to stand for something. The Maytag name in itself was automatically guaranteed a terrific product in the past. Iam truly disappointed you allowed this washer and dryer to hit the market. Have had nothing but problems since its purchase in 2017. Get it together guts. Be proud of your products you put out like the pride your name use to stand for.

I purchased my Maytag washer less than 5 years ago, needed repair already that wasn't covered on warranty, I wasn't impressed as there' s a big ad on the dryer, reading 10 years warranty. . They sure don't make them like they use to be. Maytag Washer

Bought this brand new in 2017 and in 2021 the agitator stopped working in the washer so I had to hand wash my laundry during the wash cycle. Washer that was purchased as a set with the dryer, and a month before, the dryers timer quit working so we had to set an alarm on our phone so that we could remember to turn off the dryer! It is now 2022 and finally have been able to call someone in to come fix the set, although we have to pay someone $75.00 for the diagnostic check and also to fix!! U...

motor trouble

motor trouble 3 times....I had extended warranty... warranty is now out....washer is very noisy.... next trouble I will buy another washer but not maytag

Thought Maytag meant quality. LOUD

Although it washed clothes it was the loudest washer I’ve ever experienced. Just quit working today after a squealing noise yesterday after 4 years. Loud clicking noise today and would not complete the cycle. Disappointed in Maytag product. Replacing today.

this is a complete piece of junk. worst customer service i have ever dealt with. avoid at all costs.

Lasted a little less than 4 years

Lasted a little less than 4 years in a two person household. Spin cycle stopped working. Even the cheapest of washers should last much longer despite every appliance being designed to fail.

Awful

I would not recommend this product to anyone. It rips and tears your clothes. I realize it is water-efficient however it takes more than a gallon of water to wash a load of clothes. I complained about this product to LOWES, they sent someone to my home to test it, he was there for 5 minutes and said there was nothing wrong with it! Well if this a product MAYTAG is producing, they should be ashamed! Horrible quality. I would give it a half of star!

Bearings broke after less than 5 years

Don't buy it. The bearings broke (sounds like a jet engine during spin cycle) and it's looking like the repair costs are going to be more than the washer was brand new. Not covered by 10 year warranty, according to Maytag support.

Worst ever

From less than a year after purchase, it has been nothing but trouble. Cycles don't complete, can't wash a full load, makes horrible grinding noise, lid won't unlock or locks when empty. A friend has the agitatorless model and he hates his too.

Too many features

Nothing but problems

Have owned this washer about 2 years now and have already replaced the computer board once, four dispenser cups and 1 agitator ...highly do not recommend buying this washer

Smooth operation
