Worth the extra money

I always used the citrus strip until I tried this on a recommendation. The cost is higher but it’s worth it. Definitely worse faster and better than the citrus strip.

it really works well.the reviews were right,it works I am very pleased with the results save me a lot to pay some one to do it if you follow the directions which is simple you will get great results leave on for an hour before cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a family we sometimes restore old furniture, so we use a lot of paint and varnish stripper to remove the old. I really like this brand but have found a couple issues. I would use this brand again if my favorite was out of stock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this to help in our redo of our front porch! Wee that is old and the paint matched the age of the house. This helped so much in stripping away that old nasty paint! We were able to use just a few cans and get the entire porch stripped in a matter of days. I just didnt like how strong the smell was! however that is to be expected from what the product is.

Wow, Great Paint Remover

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me tell you, this paint remover is awesome. I used it to remove paint run over on my wooden ledge in my kitchen that is already pre-stained. I didn't even leave it on as long as recommend on the bottle, and like magic it took the paint off and the stain was fine! I love this stuff.

I'm telling you, if you hastily decide to strip everything in your kitchen, then realize how hard it really is, then discover this stripper, and your arms thank you and thank you, you've found a winner! I leave it on over night, IT DOESN'T DRY UP! In the morning, just a light drift of the puddy knife, and your done. I promise this is the only thing I will ever buy again. Totally, completely and honestly worth it...

Works great!

My next task will be some old chairs I have that need stripped. I would recommend this Max Strip to anyone with these type of tasks to do.

I didn't have to use a lot to remove the paint from the piece of furniture I was working on. But it only had 2 layers. I'm not sure how it would work on items with a lot more layers of paint. But it worked really well overall.

Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using max strip paint & varnish stripper for a few weeks now. I have been working on restoring a vintage dresser. Most of the paint has been removed but the cracks and little areas so I went and grabbed another bottle at Home Depot to finish the job. I would definitely recommend trying this paint stripper it does the job.

I took a little of the product and applied it to the spots that are being stubborn. I let it sit for 20 minutes and cleaned it off. I'm proud to say that I got the stuck on areas off. I will definitely be getting this again.

So easy to use and easy to clean up! I thought I would have trouble getting so many layers of varnish off but this works great! One application and done.

Low odor, Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in the process of refinishing my kitchen table. I search to find a product that was low odor but produced excellent results. I am very pleased. I applied the varnish/paint stripper with a medium paint brush. I waited a bit longer than the directions stated before removing with a paint scrapper. Finally, I used a fine steel wool pad to wipe off the remaining product. The table looks amazing!

Does a decent job

We wanted to restore it, and we were able to make the set look nice again once the old paint was off of it. This product was fairly effective, but I would have liked if it worked a little easier. Perhaps this was due to the age of the paint, or the thickness at which it was applied, but the end result was still achieved, so I can't complain. Also, ...

Ok product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an ok product. It worked but took more tome then I thought it should. There was not enough product on one container to do the project I was working on. The odor wasn’t as bad as some products I have used in the past.

Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleasantly pleased with this paint and varnish stripper. While it does the job, I found it does not efficiently remove a finish. You have to do a light sanding to get to the true paint (ie kitchen cabinets). I was also pleased that this had a less abrasive smell that was almost fruity. All in all got the job done.

Good results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on an outdoor bench that converts to a table. It worked pretty well but was a little harder to use than it claimed and took longer than I wanted it too. I like quick easy results. But I was pleased with the end result.
