Deceitful Product Name
Would Not RecommendIt's called "Uncoupling Membrane Thinset". I mean, that's what it says in huge letters all over the bag. BUT if you are trying to install Mapeguard um 35 on a plywood subfloor (which is extremely common!), you can't use this product alone! No! You have to spend twice as much on a liquid additive to turn this dry bag of thinset into polymer modified thinset. What a pain and a huge expense! You've got to be kidding! Why even make this product? Why do manufacturers have to over complicate things? A...

Would RecommendUpgrading to this from the standard brand name HD thin-set to lay 12x24 tile is worth every penny, with minimal sag and a good consistency when using the minimum amount of water. It applies perfectly to bare, clean concrete with plenty of time to get through an entire bag before clumping up.

Would RecommendThe product was perfect, It did exactly what it was supposed to. It mixed well and it held the tiles in place. Not a lot else to say. The only problem was I bought it online to pick up at the store and who ever filled the order selected a bag with a hole in it so I have dried thinset in the back of my SUV.
