Would Not RecommendI recently purchased this item and was very disappointed. After assembling and getting oil up to temperature it was impossible to keep lit. Controls seemed cheap and airflow adjustment was useless.
Good product, be prepared to spend time on it
I like this product, i would have given it a 5 star however it took me more than an hour to put it together. It was also difficult to tell if the flame was on.

Used for an alternative purpose
Would RecommendI had a driveway to repair and wanted to melt down some blocks of tar. This kit worked beautifully. I did get a bigger pot and used copper wire to set the thermostat so I could monitor the temperature. The 50,000 b.t.u. burner lights via a candle lighter and even with a small crosswind, it did stay lit. When the wind picked up I made a plywood two-sided frame to block the wind. The hose comes pre-attached and all I had to do was connect my 20 lbs bottle of propane. I'm sure come next summer w...
