What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the water pitcher for exceptional taste, purity, and elegant glass design. Most note the water tastes noticeably cleaner and fresher, with many appreciating the removal of microplastics and dissolved solids. The glass aesthetic is frequently highlighted as beautiful and counter-ready, with reviewers valuing it over plastic alternatives. While some mention slow filtration, most accept it as a worthwhile trade-off for thorough results. A few report minor durability issues like cracking glass or wobbling bases, but overall satisfaction remains very high.

My niece wanted this for Christmas so I had to buy one for me too. I have been buying plastic bottled water for convenience. I have been using filtering pitcher for at least a month and the water tastes great. I feel it’s better than anything else that I’ve tried. I am very pleased with this product.

Great but…
Love the concept of LifeStraw. And I feel better knowing I’m taking care of my health. The initial setup could have been smoother. I was really confused how to start. And the slow drip was almost cause for putting it on a shelf never to be used again. I’m glad I stuck with it based on input from someone who went through the same thing. Seems it’s a lot of word of mouth rather than support from the company itself. I’d love a larger capacity but I don’t want the plastic. Keep up the good work, loo...

A definite step towards decreasing microplastics for our health!

Perfect
I did a lot of research - super relieved to have found something I actually enjoy using, with a nice design, and with excellent filtering. My city water tastes great now.

Slow
My mother bought this filter as a wedding gifts I was really hoping this would work well, since the design is beautiful and I love the glass. I got the pitcher in June and replaced the filler since then, but it takes hours just for all of the water to go through one cycle! I get thirsty, and it doesn’t filter fast enough for even one person. I’m really displeased, no one should buy a pitcher this slow

bad filter speed
the filter takes way too long to filter through. Once filled up, it takes more than an hour to entire filter one fill. And that isn't nearly big enough to fill an entire water bottle.

I like it!
I bought a pink glass pitcher and I really appreciate this system. What I am working on negotiating is how the top piece fits into the mouth of the jar, as it shifts each time i remove it. I will also need to keep a calendar reminder to replace the carbon filter. I very much appreciate having a glass pitcher.

Worst quality filter ever
The glass on this must be made of fairy dust the way it disintegrates into nothing at the slightest touch. Terrible quality, broke 2 (TWO) in the span of a couple weeks from barely any usage. Trash quality and will not be buying again.

It’s eh…
We have the larger pitcher with the plastic body, and it’s great! We purchased this one in glass to remove as much plastic as possible from our daily lives. Unfortunately, it takes an hour to complete one filter cycle (our older pitcher is maybe 5 minutes). We’ve tried all the tricks, but it simply doesn’t work as well. I’m probably going to shop alternatives because I can’t spend this much time watching water slowly drip. Great filtering capabilities, just not for multiple family members with b...

Extremely difficult to clean
It looks great but it’s incredibly difficult to remove the housing from the glass pitcher. It’s been washed at least 20-30 times but it doesn’t get any easier.

Really bad plasticky/chemically taste
I REALLY wanted to like this pitcher, because it's glass and I really didn't want to be drinking from a plastic container. That said, even after following the advice that LifeStraw offers and soaking the filter for 24 hours, running a vinegar mixture through the pitcher, and then running water through it and discarding it for like 3 days, the water tasted so extremely bad, like plastic/chemicals. I had to return it because I am not drinking water that tastes like that. :(

Water pitcher
Unusable, the housing fits wayyyyy too tightly in the pitcher. I couldnt use it past the intial rinsing stage. Could be a wonderful product if the fit is better

Works Great, Love the glass
Works as advertised, water takes a little bit longer to filter, but not a huge deal since I’m filling it up and putting it in the fridge, and the product is doing a better job than a Britta. Purchased the one year worth of filters at the same time which was a great deal. I have been careful with it because it’s glass, but have not had any issues even when it does get slammed on the counter a bit forcefully. Highly recommend! Great addition to any kitchen, I keep mine in the fridge. :)

Love
Everything about this is perfect. I love the beautiful glass picture. The filter is a breeze to use. The water tastes delicious, and I feel better knowing that it gives me the cleanest possible water, including removing micro plastics.

Works Like A Charm
Should have bought one of these years ago. The filtered water tastes fresh and I KNOW it is much cleaner than straight from the tap. You can see the difference. Happy now!

Filters extremely slow
I've been using a brita filter for a while because I have galvanized plumbing. I used an older model Lifestraw pitcher at an Airbnb and thought it was cool so I got this one. I literally can't live with the slowness of this pitcher. It takes an HOUR to filter one fill in the upper housing. I finally called and complained so they are sending a different membrane filter, but if that doesn't work, I'm returning it. I use the water for drinking, filling the water pot for morning coffee, and then I c...

Metallic taste that we do not like.
I’m going to wash again & run water through 2 more times. I’m hoping that will help. Otherwise I like the pitcher.
