What Customers Are Saying
The product does not appear to be as durable as advertised, especially for aggressive or heavy chewers. Many customers reported that their dogs were able to quickly destroy the toy, with some mentioning it only lasting a few minutes or hours before being ripped apart. While a few customers found the toy to be more durable than typical plush toys, the majority of reviews indicate that it does not live up to its "toughest" claims. Customers expressed disappointment at the short lifespan of the toy and suggest that it may not be suitable for dogs with strong chewing habits.

Would RecommendMy Labrador snatched this off the shelf when we were cruising the store may months ago (Don't worry we made him pay for it first) It has been one of his favorite plushy's since. The squeaker no longer works but the fabric and stitching are lasting, its easy to clean with it accidentally goes outside. Its nice to see my boy bounding to us so very happy with his "Roary"

Horrible toy
Would Not RecommendIf I could give this a zero star I would, my dog destroyed this in less than 10 minutes. “Tough chewer” should not be advertised for this toy. I have a French bulldog that is only one year old and he ate the horn, and destroyed the feet. I would love to get my money back.

Inconsistent quality
Would Not RecommendThe first time I brought my dog to petco, he picked this toy out. It lasted him about a month, and I was happy with the purchase. I just ordered another, and within 3 minutes of this toy getting here, it had ripped. I can’t believe that petco doesn’t even offer a way to contact them about a waste of money.

Very, very tough
Would RecommendThis is the second toy I’ve bought from this line/brand. Previous was the unicorn. That one lasted nearly two months. Two! I have tried so many different stuffed toys, and had pretty much given up for about the last year - every single one I’d bring home would be utterly destroyed within minutes. I think the longest any other plush toy has lasted was a day or two. Have had this one for about a week, and she still hasn’t made a dent in it, despite her best (and near constant) efforts. Like an...

My dog’s best toy
Beat dog toy we have bought yet. Our Labrador retriever has had it for months and greets me at the door with it daily. If your dog can ruin this toy you need training, because it is not toy quality issue, it’s a dog issue. Highly recommend for good boys and girls!

Great buy for our giant puppers!
Got 2 of these for our Great Pyrenees and am happy to say they are still going strong and I bought them over a month ago ! I was a little nervous after reading some reviews about how "heavy chewers went straight through them " but this was not the case at all with these two "heavy chewers ". Would highly recommend!

not great
Would Not RecommendI bought this product about a week ago. Wanted to try it, hoping that it would last longer because of the kevlar. My bernese mountain dog put a hole in the foot of the dino in less than a week.

Better Than Average Durability
Would RecommendReading through the reviews it seems people have inappropriate expectations from a plush toy and are likely confusing the dog's needs of chewing and playing. Dogs described as "chewers" might just need a real chew (compressed rawhide, hard rubber, bully stick, etc.), not a toy. Chews are for chewing and toys are for playing...with you, not solo. If your dog chews everything in sight to destruction, it is trying to tell you its needs are not being met, not that it needs a more durable toy. It eit...

Didn’t last at all
Would Not RecommendHad high hopes for these. We bought two Dinos as get well presents after our dog’s surgery. We gave one to our dog thinking he’d cuddle with while still being somewhat sedated and out of it. It lasted about 5 minutes. Seems really misleading to advertise this toy as being so tough. This company has a long way to go if this is the strongest toy they make. We didn’t think they’d last but definitely thought they’d last longer for the price.

Had so much hope I saw Kevlar stitching.
Would Not RecommendI bought this 30 minutes ago, 2 of them. I for each 7 month old labs. The brothers had eaten through the product in 30 minutes. This is a lot of money for something that advertises Kevlar. Took 5 minutes for one of the toys to start removing stuffing. And 30 for the other dog. Just purchase stuffed toys at garage sales for them to destroy.

Tough dino!
Would RecommendI have two Australian Shepherds that usually destroy all toys within days of purchase (or sooner). This one however has lasted over year, mostly intact, and the boys do seem to prefer it, carrying it around, hiding it from each other, nibbling on it. I noticed last month that it was finally on it’s last leg (literally), so I replaced it with the same toy. It’s on the expensive side for a dog toy but has been a good investment as far as dog toys go.

Disappointed
Would Not RecommendWe were really excited to have a stuffy for Gus that he wouldn’t destroy but we were wrong.

Not for aggressive chewers
Would Not RecommendI bought this toy for my Chow Chow four days ago. She had little interest in it the first day but by the 4th day managed to chew off (and eat) about an inch of the end of the tail. I had such high hopes for her finally having a plush chew toy.

Not Tuff at all
Would Not RecommendI bought this for my 5 year old standard poodle. She chewed through the tail in less than 10 minutes. I'm glad that I was near by as she could have swallowed it. I'm returning it later!!

Not for “ruff” and “tuff” chewers
Would Not RecommendWithin and hour of bringing this home, my 55-pound dog had chewed 2 holes in it. Within 24 hours, there was stuffing everywhere!

"Ruffest & Toughest"....
Would Not RecommendBought this for our GSD pup and within 9 minutes she destroyed it with holes and all. I shouldn't be surprised but we keep trying to find stuffed animal toys that our dog won't destroy right away because these are her favorite toys. Decided to give this one a try given that the tag itself says "Ruffest & Toughest" and is marked "toughest" on their "tough-o-meter" and boy were we disappointed. $17 for less than 10 minutes of play...

Rest In Pieces
The hope of having a toy that would last has been absolutely crushed. We named the toy “Kevvy” because of the Kevlar stitching. Well, our Chocolate Lab gutted Kevvy in just a few days. We’ve been chasing him around pulling the white stuffing out of his mouth so he doesn’t swallow it. Kevvy is just an empty shell now. RIP dear Kevvy.

Not so tough
Would Not RecommendI was excited to try this as my super chewer pit literally chews through most things in minutes. I gave it to him and 2 mins. in things were looking good. By the 3 min. mark poor thing was missing arms. I really wish it was have been able to withstand his chewing as there are minimal toys that my dog can have. I guess I need to keep looking.

Arms are vulnerable
Would Not RecommendIt looked like it could withstand my crazy 7 month old mini aussie and his love of tearing toys apart, but I was wrong. My pup tore through the arm the first day. I tried to sew the arm shut, but he tore it open again. Aside from the arms, it looks really sturdy, but I had to take it away as soon as my dog tried to eat the stuffing.
