Weather Station - Package opened
The weather station works fine. The package was shipped to my house. I took off a star because the plastic package had been cut; when I opened the battery cover, I found Kirkland batteries in the main and remote units. Obviously, someone had returned this and it was resold as new. It works, so I don't know why it was returned. I did have to pull the batteries as part of the calibration reset procedure so the temperatures matched before I put the remote outside.

Would RecommendI had a La Crosse weather station similar to this one that lasted 16 years - the transmitter survived over a decade and a half of cold Alaska winters. I've been using this new one now for a few weeks and have had no issues with it. The indoor and outdoor temp readings are accurate. The station is on the smaller side (which I like) but the numbers are large and easy to read across the room.
