This Stuff is Almost Foolproof

I needed a self leveling sealer to fill gaps between wood and concrete. This worked great for me.

Messy & complicated for the novice user. Utube videos make it look so easy for DYIers & single ladies looking to save a few bucks. I wouldn’t call it the fault of the product, because I honestly don’t know- but in my case it was not successful. ;(

Very easy to apply , comes out quickly through the caulking gun . Easy to clean up with mineral spirits if you make a mess. Dries in about 24 to 72 hours so don’t apply it when it’s about to rain.

Bad product for filling cracks on concrete steps

I used this product to attempt to fill in cracks on my concrete steps. The part of the step that is the vertical height between the flat steps you walk on. It’s so runny, it ran out of the cracks, down on the horizontal step like molasses. It took it a few minutes to run out. I had used 2 tubes of this stuff then when I walked away and came back 10 minutes later, it had all run one of the cracks onto the steps. What a mess and what a waste.

I give it five stars but I do caution that it is a bit runny so watch the surrounding area you are using it for as well as your clothes etc. Especially if using outdoors and it's windy. Other than that it works great and seals up concrete nicely.

Self-leveling is very thin

It is very thin and made for filling smaller gaps and self-leveling. It did not work for my project. I tried to caulk the junction of my basement floor and wall. The caulk flowed through the gap and never closed it. I used an entire tube for 8 feet and nothing was sealed. It all flowed through the gap into the dirt under the foundation. I will try something thicker for this application. It is probably a good product for other applications.

A Great Time Saver

It's a real time saver for caulking in my driveway's oversized expansion joints. I secure a styrofoam backer rod into the joint, then lay down a generous bead of this caulk. It's thin enough to flow into the nooks and crannies, but eventually thickens enough to keep out the rain. And, I don't have to double back to smooth out the beads.
