LOVE THE SIZE!!!

I've now owned this huge capacity washer with its' corresponding electric dryer and have been extremely pleased. Only the rubber gasket and the water pump were replaced. It is leaking a bit now because I have dogs and their hair clogs the drainage hole, therein lies the issue, I think? A few more holes OR perhaps a "Pet filter" of some sort might help with this? I'm now looking at getting another set.... We shall see what's available!

Best washer and dryer I have ever owned

I have had this washer and dryer set since 2013. 13 years later, I've never had to have it worked on, and it's still works like a champ. I bought this extra large capacity because I had four boys at home, it reduced my laundry day to just one day a week. I can load it up with a King Comforter and all the sheets, no problem! 10 years owns ....

After 10 years of using an LG Front washing machine, it still washes, but I noticed how it washes: one day, after the entire cycle, some items remained dry. First, there wasn't enough water; I had to soak the laundry separately and add water. The programs are poorly designed. In the Brite White setting, and probably in other settings, it washes for 10 minutes, and the detergent remains unused. It switches to rinse mode on the display, and it rinses and spins for an hour. Poor design

The impeller motor has gone out twice this year. This is a design or part replacement failure.

Great Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this washer since 2013. It has one had to have 3 repairs done on it but it's still running like new. I love this washer because it has the largest drum. I can wash a queen sized comforter in it with no issues. Love it!!!!

Many features and all are beneficial

Best washer and dryer

I bought this set in 2010. I have done thousands of loads of laundry and the pair has done an excellent job on our clothes with not one issue. I have owned other brands in the past and none of them compare to my LG set! I absolutely love them!

Love LG appliances

Great machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The large capacity is terrific and does a great cleaning job. My only issue is keeping the drainage hole unplugged as I have pet fur. You must be diligent in drying the rubber seal and leaving it open.

was pleased until recent motherboard failure

my wife and I have been happy about the ease of use and capacity of our LG units. much to our surprise, the motherboard on our washing machine recently failed without warning. we take great care of our units, store them safely and maintain them properly. we did not expect the central control board problems at such an early stage of life for these top of the line machines.

Not a long term purchase

These machines don’t last , 4 -5 years tops ! I’ve purchased 2 and need to get a new one already please don’t buy LG

Replaced pump every year for 7 years!

I have used this washing machine for 7 years and have been through at least 6 pumps. While it is working, I love this washer. It has a variety of cycles and features. And it cleans well. Along with three dogs, we have teenagers who play sports and ride dirt bikes. Our household is rough on laundry so I appreciate a good machine. HOWEVER, once a year without fail, the pump breaks and it takes a month to have it repaired. Why would you make a quality machine with a faulty pump that CANNOT keep up...
