Worse Dishwasher I have ever owned!

Worst dishwasher I’ve ever owned. When I called for help, I was told the only way to get it to dry dishes was to ‘run the hot water before starting the dishwasher’ and to try that a few times. I did exactly what they said. When it still didn’t work and I called back, I had four days left on my warranty — and they still refused to process a claim. Completely unacceptable experience.

Doesn’t work

Dishwasher has barely been used. It was in a recently purchased home where the kitchen was new. It worked well for 3 months and then the power button failed. The wiring to the unit has been checked and there’s no issue with it. Repairs would cost almost as much as a new dishwasher. I would not buy an LG appliance again.

had this thing 1 year and quit on me. parts to fix it are close to cost of purchasing a new one anyway. dont waste your money on this.

AVOID

My circuit board fried after 13 months. LG will not fix anything after 1 year. Get a different one

Very disappointed in Lowe's

Bought and installed this dishwasher in mid-August, and it performed well for about six weeks, when it started throwing a code indicating a leak. Following LG's troubleshooting guidelines, I restarted the machine and it cleared the code for another week or so, when it returned. This time I called LG and they sent a service tech to inspect the dishwasher. He told me the leak, in the top corner of the tub, was clearly a result of damage in shipping or warehousing at Lowe's, and LG would not cover ...

does not have heated dry. they call it dynamic dry with 2 fans. does not work. very poor design. wish there was some way to exchange it for a model with HEATED DRY

worse dishwasher ever. doesn't clean, 3 row sucks.

I keep having to clean out the trap on the bottom. NEVER have I cleaned a dishwasher trap out in 40 years. doesn't clean the dishes, I'm rewashing items after they come out. took out the third row after first week it didn't clean the items on the top nor the first row because of it.

Perfect replacement

My fridgeaire dishwasher died on thanksgiving(2 years old, just after warranty ended too). This LG is so much better and not made of plastic. I highly recommend making sure your dishwasher doesn’t not have a plastic latch or drum.

Dosent dry

The dishwasher does not dry the dishes and the top rack gets stuck a lot

The price was amazing for this quality. Tim taught us how to purchase with the best multi appliance discounts causing us to purchase more items but the savings was undeniably worth it

Don't Buy this dishwasher

Would give zero stars if possible. This dishwasher has no heat element to dry and depends on Rinse Aid to dry your dishes. Its awful. We have to open our dishwasher and slide the racks out to dry the dishes over night.

Take the good with the bad.

The unit itself is better than the one it replaces. It is quiet, it cleans very well, and the capacity and layout is better than our previous dishwashers. The process of getting it was fraught with difficulty. There was a lack of communication between the sales staff and the distribution center. We ended up with the floor model and I had to transport it myself and have the delivery fee refunded. This is the first time I’ve had problems with Lowes purchasing procedures.

Beware Lowe's dishwashers, & do not buy Whirlpool!

Today is 9/4/25. On 8/14/25 Lowe's salesman Richard aka "Rick” in Lowe’s store in Rome, Georgia, told me Lowe's would not install this LG to replace a Whirlpool I had paid Lowe's to install ten years ago. Consequently I paid him to have one shipped to me. On 8/25/25 it was delivered to me from Lowe's store in Ft. Payne, Alabama. It was damaged when I got it.
