Volume issues

I have had these speakers for a couple years, but they’ve never produced very much sound. Is there a way to adjust the settings on the speakers so that they produce more sound? When watching a movie, the sound is very faint. When I play music, I would expect the speakers to produce Normal sound for music, but they are again, very weak. Are there settings on these speakers that can be adjusted?

great feature with bugs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the biggest issue noticed that soundbar connects to wireless speaker over 5ghz frequency. it is very common that routers at home use the same frequency and this disconnects wireless speaker and soundbar very frequently. had to change the home router to 2.4Ghz to compensate... anyone found a solution to this ?

I had difficulty finding the correct surround speakers, but now that I have listened to them for a month, I love them. The sound is so much fuller, richer and immersive.

Awesome sound

I bought the wireless rear speaker kit to enhance my soundbar, and we love it. The sound is amazing.

Easy surround sound

This is a very easy way to make your 2ch or 3ch sound into a surround sound system. Sound is good as long as your placement is a couple feet behind you, as it will be distracting if they are closer than a couple feet.

Easy set up.

I loved my LG sound bar but I love it even more with the addition of the wireless rear speakers. So easy to set up.

Sounded amazing then the wireless receiver stopped working. No light no power means no sound

I love the sound, but there are glitches.

I bought the SL4Y sound bar in 2019. 2020 I bought the SPK8-S surroundsound component. When it said wireless, I was surprised there were wires, but I guess you can’t avoid that true, it is wireless connection between the components, but it is hardwired from the surroundsound unit to the speakers, unlike the whoofer, which is Bluetooth . Also, it Hass to be very close or it fades in an out. In fact, there are many times I’ve had to turn the system off and on to keep the rear speakers from fading ...

Compre este producto y tengo un par de días probándolo y ha sido muy satisfactorio.... se conecto inmediato con la barra y tengo trabajando también el LG WowCast al televisor LG y mi barra LG y el Atmos funciona bien... sonido, claro sin cortes e interferencias...

Nice addition to my sound bar.

I added this package to my sound bar and found it a quick way to add the surround to my current setup. I found it an easy to install addition for a reasonable price.

Please, update the SP9a Soundbar and the SPK8-S to be compatible with each other!!!

Adds a whole new dimension to TV sound

So far I’m very happy with my purchase. The rear speakers sound great and we’re easy to set up and pair with my LG sound bar.

Awesome movie sound in our living room? Yes!

These rear speakers were easy to set up and paired in seconds to our LG-SP8YA soundbar. I'm not a techno-geek, so I don't know all the finer points of comparing precision sound. All I know is that the movie sound in our living room is remarkable. Music, and even talk podcasts all come through wonderfully. Expectations exceeded. I was fortunate to get a very good deal on an open-box soundbar, which made it a no-brainer to complete the set by order the rear speakers. Well worth the price.

Great sound, effortless setup

Though I anticipated some complicated process to link these with my soundbar, it turned out to be as simple as connecting the wires from the receiver to the speakers, then plugging into power. Bang! All done!

Good rear speaker package

I purchased these speakers and found them ok. I did have an issue with being able to see that they were linked up and powered on. I returned them and hope the next set with have functioning indicators.

SP8A not compatible

I bought this item a month ago tried pairing it with the model SP8A, to my dismay its not compatible, because my modem sound bar doesn't have the Y
