Good, if you can afford to buy a new one each year

Worked last summer when I first bought it, and it worked alright in May. Conveniently, the week after the 1-year warranty expired, it stopped working. It blows air, but not cold air, and the compressor doesn't turn on. So now my options are 1) spend hundreds on a repair service, 2) spend hundreds on a new unit, or 3) suffer through one of the hottest summers I've ever experienced sitting in front of a fan blowing warm air. Never purchasing anything like this again!

Having issues

I’ve been using the unit for the past eight months, primarily at night, and it has performed exceptionally well until recently. I typically set the temperature to 66°F for sleeping, and the unit has always cooled the room efficiently. However, it has recently stopped cooling below 68°F, even when set to a lower temperature. Only Lasted One Year

Like many reviews, it worked great it's initial year. Tried to turn it on for the second summer and it wouldn't blow cold. For some reason you can't recharge it so to the trash it goes.. Support gave us a refund but I wish it worked longer..

Keeps Room Cool

Lots to be desired

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cheap unit means short life. This is my second one in a year and they seem to only last a few months. They do cool well and offer good styling but don't compare to the older LG models

one season machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DO NOT PURCHASE used last summer for 3-4 weeks when home hvac failed requiring repair. After safely storing the portable AC unit for about 12 months, today the compressor kicks in but no cool air comes out. Unit appears to have lost the refrigerant similar to the other complaints posted.

Good product fair price

This is the 2nd LG air conditioner I have purchased, and both are working great. I bought the second one because of how well I liked the first one.

Great features

For me this has been better than my expectations, It has made the whole home to feel cooler, I recommend this Air Conditioner

Great size and power

Takes a While to cool the room but it works more than perfect! I think that it is a perfect option to small places and is very easy to move.

LG portable AC comes through

(I have awning type windows so needed to create a wood frame to vent the AC, but if I had had double-hung windows would likely have gotten a traditional window unit.) Features so great, I bought one for my new apartme

My. Previous landlord had purchased one for my bedroom. I loved it so much I bought one when I moved for my new apartment! The fan & dry [dehumidifier] settings are terrific. On the low fan setting, it's like in the manual: quiet enough for this light-sleeper. Installation was easy....enough. It took some time to thread the hose to the rings. But, easy enough fir this senior citizen to install & operate.

Great disposable air conditioner

Perfect for its size!

This is a strong A/C unit that will cool the exact size space that is it rated for. If you try to cool a larger are, then you may need a fan to move the cool air around. I am really happy with tis purchase, and it has made it SO much easier to sleep on these hot nights.

Disappointed

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disappointing quality & longevity. Worked fine last summer. Got ready to use it for the first big heat wave this year, and it's not working. Wish we would've known last month, since it's several weeks beyond the year warranty. Before this, we had a different portable LG model that performed great for many years. Very disappointed with this product.
