Fan runs, but does not cool

The unit worked good for six years and now it will not cool. I’ve cleaned it every other year sprayed it down and it will not cool this summer so far. I wish you had a Parts breakdown so I can check things but you don’t have anything available I can find. This time after I washed it again just to make sure it worked and then it did not cool. It was just blowing air. I don’t hear the compressor working. Do you suggest any repair or should I just scrap this thing?

Don't buy this product

stopped working after 18 months. company I purchased it from said only 1 year warranty. So $900.00 down the drain. LG never returned my calls about unit repair. This is my 2nd LG unit in 4 years. buy a different brand

Cools more for less

I purchased the exact unit to replace the old because of the reliability os the product.

Inferior product

I bought this item 6/7/22 for my mom it has stopped working after 2 years, and the manufacturer warranty is only good for one year. so off to pawn my wedding ring to buy a new one so her and my niece and nephew don't die from heat stroke. So if you cherish your valuables and don't wanna repurchase a new unit in 2 years, maybe skip this one or at least buy the extended warranty. so good luck and go with God.

only worked for 4 years, mode doesn't change when you change it. it stays on compressor. doesn't turn off when you turn power button off, so you have to turn it off at the plug.

Turns off in 10 min had code CH 35 need a technician out

I purchased this LG Air conditioner over a month ago and it was a good choice, works great.

New A/C

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed a/c a month ago in a second floor bedroom. Did not use until temperature was in the high 90’s-100’s last week. The a/c worked great and cooled the room quickly. The a/c was not too loud and I used the energy saver mode. Our last window a/c lasted 20 years, doubt this one lasts that long. Case did come with a dent in it.

Great size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this window a/c month ago and prior to installing I noticed a dent in the unit case. So check it out for dents as soon as u receive the product. Have not used it yet to evaluate how well it cools but with hot temps on. Horizon I think I will know if it is any good. Looks about like the 22 year old a/c it is replacing. Don’t think it will last as long as the old one.

I have not had this air conditioner long enough to rate it s 5 *, I will give it a 4 +.

LG -18,000 btu Air Conditioner

I replaced my LG Air Conditioner, after 20 years, with another LG 18,000 btu Air Conditioner, because it worked really well for that period of time. I chose LG for my replacement because it was very reliable.

Defective

I bought this ac through purchase power. I had it for about a month sitting in the box never opened it, didn’t have no one to help me install it. Finally did and it didn’t work. It’s so hot and still don’t have no ac. The compressor is bad. Waiting for parts.

Unreliable

We purchased 2 of these back to back. Both times they did not work.

The unit came with damaged condenser coils. It didn't cool or get cold.
