Replacement unit working well

We had to do a return and replace for the microwave. The originally delivered unit didn't work correctly. The geek squad came out and verified the issue and guided us through the return and replace process. The new unit was installed and has worked well since installation.

Overall, good microwave!

Purchased this microwave when our previous one stopped working correctly. This new one was fairly quick to install (by installers) despite being a different brand from the previous one. The features all work pretty well. I would have liked for there to be more power in the microwave. And, if there was a timer function, it would have been convenient as well.

2nd microwave of this style and brand

Both microwaves with issues, first microwave lasted ~2 years and then new microwave requires fix already for high/loud humming noise. First microwave had faulty magnetron and although part is covered under warranty, labor is not covered post yr 1 manufacturer warranty. If i have another magnetron issue, I will likely not purchase another LG microwave.

Is there anything this micro can’t do?

I love this microwave, I have always had a Sharp brand microwave and I was convinced I would never like anything else but I was so wrong there is so much this microwave can do and so well. I am so glad I got it. I’ve not tried everything it can do yet but so far everything I’ve tried has made my life easier.

Cooking rack causes arcing to cabinet.

This particular microwave came including a cooking rack that mounts above the turn table held in place with 4 hooks one in each corner. Each hook seems to be completely plastic held in place with a clip design, one of the hook although has a screw in it. I don’t know why it’s there as it served no purpose holding the hook in place. Never worked so I wouldn't ever buy one

Stopped heating

I bought an LG microwave in 2016. It stopped heating in 2018. I bought the same microwave in 2018. Again stopped heating in December 2021.

Great features
