Great Load Capacity!

Fits my comforter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you don’t plan on having your washer too long after the warranty runs out, it’s perfect for you. Over the 5 years I’ve had mine, I’ve lost the use of many of the controls and trying to get someone to repair in my area is impossible. So check on that before you buy!

Excellent washer!

Using the different features of the machine helps clean all kinds all clothing. even my delicate clothing come out nice and real clean. I love the option of delayed start it is very useful. Only issue I have is the control panel broke and LG dont have this part available in stock for 2 months and I'm not sure how I can be without a working wash...

Hate it

So Intuitive and Clean Clothes Too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 4 years ago and am so happy with this purchase. The large tube has come in handy so many times. I was hesitant about that feature; thinking an extra large tube and a water efficiency model was an oxymoron. But, all my loads, even large loads of towels or bedding, come out clean and fresh. This is my first LG appliance and I’m sold on the quality!

Control panel is cracking and plastic peeling off

HATE! Gross Brown Residue which Nothing Resolves

I HATE this washer with a passion. Nothing I do can get rid of the brown residue that coats my items when a cycle ends. I've done all the recommended steps with vinegar soaking, tub cleaning cycles, Affresh tabs repeatedly and religiously without any improvement. As someone who struggles with skin infections I cannot tell you how much I'm upset by this. I've even tried using the WaterPlus option to see if it would help - nope. Does Not Fill With Enough Water for Washing

Some areas of the clothing are still dry when the load is finished. Soil remains on the clothing. I watched how much water fills the tub during a wash, and I found just what I suspected. Just enough water fills the tub just to wet the clothes a bit, and then the tub begins to oscillate. The clothes don’t move anywhere during the wash cycle. It’s just looks like a pile of wet clothes on a merry go round. The fact that the tub is going in circles does nothing if the clothes aren’t actually IN WAT...

Poorly designed cover

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our washer is 3 1/2 years old and the entire cover has fallen apart. Plastic wasn’t a good choice. I get it’s a few years old but considering the price, it shouldnt be cracked in multiple places. Getting it to lock is crazy- the back doesn’t even close in order to get the front to lock and wash.

High water usage

This is a good washer in that it cleans clothes fairly well, however, if you have a septic system and/or you are concerned about water usage, this machine seems to use A LOT of water. The smart controls ultimately establish the water level based on the load size/weight. It appears to use over 30 gallons for a typical load.
