Great for 15 years. Now constant error codes.

We've had the WT1201CV Washer and dryer set for 15 years and loved them. Huge tub, love the style, color and cycles. Not sure why LG doesn't offer these graphite colors any longer as I do not want black or white. Recently it is throwing the DE code so the washer is on the fritz and will not start or continue the load. We replaced the door lock mechanism, pump and supports inside. Also replaced 2 main boards and we still get the DE code so it is not the main board nor the door lock itself but may...

Great design features

Not enough water

I have to restart the washer multiple times to get enough water to get the clothes wet. Very disappointed.

Bad engineering

Great buy!

I bought this to replace an LG that we've had for 15 years. Love this brand. This new machine had a higher capacity than the older one and so far, has been doing a great job. Love that there isn't an agitator.

Easy to use

I bought the combo washer and Dryer. We had owned a similar combo . These Machines are great. The New version is even easier to use, extremely quite and we love the new interface. We researched all machines even those twice the price and thought the construction was way superior with our LG, Our clothing has never been cleaner. Highly recommend

Love the front control features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my LG front control washer. It makes it so easy when my son helps me because he can easily use the controls. This feature is great and I wish LG would bring this back. In fact the front control feature is the reason my son wants to help with every load of laundry, he likes the buttons and the little chimes they make. Honestly the washer is very quiet as it’s cleaning the clothes, we love it.

Good Washer but only 1 problem...

Bought this 8 years ago which is back in 2014, this was a good Washing machine to use, except a year ago it started having problems with the balancing loads as I was too lazy to get it fixed. It does the UE error even though the loads is balanced, however this year we got a new front load machine, however it is a non-LG product. Love my washer and dryer set. Had it for almost 10 yrs. Still works like new!

Drum faulty

I bought this from the Brick in Nov 2012 . It has always worked fairly well but the centre piece of drum always appeared “loose” and just not right. The “tub support” has now worn down (the bolt part) and flies off when spinning out! Very very dangerous.

Worst washer I ever owned

Its supposed to have a large capacity yet the second we add jeans or towels to the load, it shows a UE code. When UE code is activated, the washer will add a rinse cycle (to an already 1 hour long cycle) to try to rebalance. Balancing loads is an issue

Overall good washer with lots of features

It was fixed, but we had to pay for it so that wasn't great for such a new washer. Outside of that, it has been solid with the exception of some periodic odor from the tub. You need to run clean cycles on this washer on a regular basis to avoid that. Not the washers fault, but be sure you do this. The only other issue we have is ergon...

Takes FOREVER to run a load of wash

Unfortunately, this machine takes nearly 3 hours to run a simple load of wash. It is always off balance, then after you balance, it restarts the process all over. The quick wash feature should take 35 minutes to wash, but it takes 3 hours. Will never buy another "smart" machine again.
