Falling apart in 2 years

Pullout vent cover is already peeling. Small piece of plastic peeled off under door. I cant even find the part on their website. Only 2 years old.

No Light on Control Panel

The control panel is not backlit! in low light conditions, one cannot read the text for the functions at all. Thus the kitchen lights must be turned on. It just irritates one everytime you want to turn on the stove light as a night light. How could a simple design issue not be corrected after other users have complained back several years.

Their is no support from LG

this microwave works great but there was a defect on the extender material coating. Had it replace now the back vents are not coming down like they should. LG support did not take care of this after I had called several times and requested to come out and fix it. They would close my ticket and say it was completed. I need for them to just fix the problem not give me the run around.

Nice looking microwave w/ WiFi but hard to install

This LG microwave has a modern look and comes with WiFi connection (via an app). It does well cooking, just like any other microwave out there. It was very difficult to install though--in fact, one of the screw-in brackets that holds the micro from the top came off and fell inside the oven! I had to jerryrig something to replace the holding screw.

It saves so much condensation. The microwave is easy to use, very intuitive and efficient. Love the WiFi link as well! Great appliance!

Very Happy Customer

I did my due diligence in researching a OTR microwave. Several reviews I had read previously didn’t like the extended vent. Mine is not made of plastic, it is a nice added feature. I do concur that it is difficult to see the buttons without a light on. Definitely not a deal breaker for me. While others are irritated with the tune that plays when done, it’s not bad. Can get annoying if you don’t get up to open the door, but that’s on you! It has freed up counter space and working well!

Poor control panel

Decent microwave except for one very disappointing feature. The panel is not backlit so we cannot see the buttons unless we turn on the overhead light and use reading glasses. If you are older and have typical close vision problems I would not recommend.

Hi Tech Incredible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this superb microwave oven a month ago, and installed it just over a week ago -- its features are incredible and appearance ev en better. Best, for us, was its overhanging retractable fan/vent, which addresses expelled moisture, steam, smoke, odors, etc. from our gas stovetop.

Pretty Darn Good Microwave

I bought this a few weeks ago and so far, it's pretty good. We had our old microwave for 11 years so this is definitely an upgrade. A minor complaint is that it is slightly less powerful than old one so it cooks a tad slower and we're learning what adjustments we need to make. Also, the defrost cycle is a bit different and again, we are learning how to adjust. Also, some difficultysetting up LG ThinQ but we also had this problem with our LG Refrigerator. Missing advertised 24h format

Powerful microwave; needs more powerful lights

I'm not convinced the installation instructions and template were accurate because I had to remove the mounting bracket from the templated location to get the microwave to fit into the space. The lights are not very bright; the interior light is VERY dim.
