Broke in 3 1/2 years!

We purchased this over the stove microwave and in less than 4 years it has broken. In FACT we purchased a whole LG suite of appliances and 3 of the 4 have had to be repaired. Now they want $349 as their basic service price to have someone come out and service the microwave. I can buy a better one for that price. I should not have to pay for anything. Their logo "LG" "life is good" motto stinks. Their customer service is terrible. I will never buy LG appliances again. Highly recommend that no one...

pur. 1/2022 broken 3 times already

I purchased this microwave a little over 2 years ago and have had to replace 1 part 2x and another 1x. The outside plastic casing keeps breaking. There are only 2 of us using it, and there are days we go without using it. So, for it to keep breaking is beyond me. I have never had a microwave break before, even when all my kids were home. I would not recommend this product to anyone! Plus, it isn't even the cheap one.

useless fan

microwave is fine after 3 years of use, I like that there are not overly complicated features. the range fan is not effective with 400 cfm.

Disappointed

I remodeled 2 years ago and bought all new appliances and I went with LG because historically I’ve had luck with you. I’m not buying a new microwave 2 years in and my oven is acting up too!!! When it works, I love the product.

Poorly made

The door handled snapped. Never has this happened to any other product. LG repair will not help and refuses to call back. Can't open the door to the microwave , rendering it useless.

High quality, durable

I've heard many say that appliances don't last as long anymore, etc. But this LG microwave has provide service day in and day out for a long time now. A few months ago, I did have a question for customer service, and they responded within 30 minutes with help. This is a great company with an emphasis on customer service. Truly impressive!

Lg microwave is junk can’t cook a whole meal

I have had this microwave less than a year and every time I cook over 5 min the power goes out and it takes 1 to 2 hrs before it cools down enough to use again and lg is milking me until the warranty expires

Went through 2 in 2 years

Bought the model LMV2031SS microwave as part of a set (microwave, dishwasher, double stove and fridge). At 1 year and 1 month the first microwave had a terminal error and wasn't worth repairing. Purchased the same one (as it was out of warranty by a month), because we needed it to match the rest of the set with the unique handles, with hopes that it was a one-off flaw. Thumbs Up for this Microwave!

I have had this microwave for a couple months now and I can’t believe how much faster it heats up my food/drinks than my last one! Smooth front is easy to keep clean and easy to use controls.

Love This Microwave

We purchased this microwave a few weeks ago and my husband easily installed it. We love the reminder settings listed on the inside of the microwave. It works great and is very nice looking although the stainless steel does not match my gas range, dishwasher or refrigerator which are all white and sadly not LG products.

LG Microwave

We bought this as apart of the LG suite. And what a good choice it was. The only negative with this microwave is the fact that there are no lights under the buttons. It you don't turn on the kitchen lights you cannot see what is selected. Other than that, it's a great microwave.

Button Pushing

We like the overall performance of this appliance. The surprising thing for us is the selection panel push buttons. They require force! Wonder why? We have found a "sweet spot" in the button area that receives a "lighter touch" to activate. I am also not sure why it is not 1500 watts instead of 1000. But, overall, good performer!

Stopped working after 3 years!

We built a new home and furnished the kitchen and laundry room with all new LG appliances. Unfortunately this microwave stopped working after only 3 years. We didn't use it a lot and we have taken good care of it. We are very disappointed to have it die so quickly.

Great Over stove Microwave

Very good value overall!

I bought this a month ago. I wasn’t expecting the LG delivery guys to install it and haul away the old microwave. This saved me money from the big box stores or having to pay to have it installed. Overall it works great. I only have two complaints. There is no light inside of the microwave when you open the door. It works only while cooking. The second complaint is the window view into the microwave is small and high up. It makes it difficult to view and monitor what’s cooking.
