POOR INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The directions were terrible. No mention on how to change the levers and or directions on how to reverse the key lock. Had to go on line and search you tube videos that provided the information. There were many comments on line from dissatisfied people noting that Kwikset instructions do not provide the information on what is required to perform a correct installation with lever handles and key orientation in the correct position. Broke in less than 6 months!

I purchased 8 of these for a new build. They were installed professionally by the carpenter who built our home. It has been only 5 months since we moved in and the lever handle came off of our little girls bedroom door. I'm not sure what happened, but the handle literally fell off on the hall side of the door, in my hand, when I went in to check on my child while she slept. I've never had that happen before... I assume the product was defective. I hope the other door handles don't follow suit.. ...

Sleek beautiful door hardware

It's protected with microban, providing cleaner hardware, and best of all you can re-key it yourself to use your current house keys. To be able to re-key it has been awesome and so convenient. Now we don’t have to have multiple keys.

Affordable and durable

Balboa SmartKey Lever with Microban
