Used it 5 minutes before dying...

Brand new out of the box, I charged the battery fully. Added some soap to the dispenser. Completely covered my vehicle--man I liked that. Grabbed my mitt and washed it down good. Swapped out the soap dispenser for the water end. Pulled the trigger and......nothing. The four lights near the handle all blink three times, but nothing after that. Decent, but has challenges!

I wasn't expecting the most powerful pressure washer at only 600 PSI. I feel that the rating is probably close to the pressure I actually got out of this unit. My biggest challenge is the water-hose to unit connector. That connection is VERY weak. With any significant water coming from a water source, the connection just blows right off. It can't handle the pressure coming from a heavy duty or even a lite-grade water hose. Even when I lower the water coming from the faucet to just a trickle, ...

only useful if you dont have access to a spigot as its not as strong as a water hose but useful to fill up a bucket n spray some stuff off

More of a toy than a pressure washer. I did not mind that it did not have much power, as I did not want to damage wooden rockers. With the battery fully charged it was doing a good job, but then when battery was about half used, two stripes on power bar, it did not have enough power to clean chairs. BEWARE!!!!

all you're going to get with this crap is about 10 minutes of solid pressure wash and that's it it will die after 10 minutes maybe 15 if you use the low. I should have listened to the other reviews but I thought that they must have been exaggerating but no they were not, it literally will only last 10 at the most 15 minutes and since it uses the new special battery you can't use any of your old Kobalt batteries so if you want to Shell out a 150 dollars for a brand new 40 volt super special Koba...

Disappointing

It is very heavy, fortunately the battery only lasts 10-15 minutes of continuous use before it has to be recharged for an hour and a half so you have plenty of time to rest your arms. The poorly designed trigger is something to see. The most disappointing part is Kobalt had to know what a piece if crap this thing is and they put it out there for $180 anyways.

Convenient no hose needed pressure washer.

Easy set up, easy to use. Buy a second battery pack for more operating time. No dislikes at the moment. Great for washing your car when you live in an apartment and no hose is available. I bought 2 7 gal water jugs and filled them with clean filtered water from the water store and left my car clean, spotless and shiny.

Such A Great Tool

I absolutely love this little machine, it performed well above my expectations. I used it at first to clean some cushions. It had a great amount of pressure considering is was hand held. I was able to use it in my garage which was nice because it was about 36° outside. I have already sealed off my outside faucets to keep them from freezing. It was no problem I just used a 5 gallon bucket filled it with room temp water. I ran it straight for 45 minutes and it still had battery left. Very impres...

Maybe good to wash a car of motorcycle. Went through three batteries to wash my 12' x 21' patio. Didn't get it clean.

Don't waste your money

This thing is strait poo! I sneeze harder than this thing. If you want something clean you are better off just using the water hose.

Garden hose has more pressure than this pressure washer does, it does not cut the dirt on my vinyl siding so I switched to a hose with a high-pressure nozzle and it did better

No op after two battery charges

This Kobalt pressure washer uses the same batteries as my Kobalt string trimmer and hedge trimmer, which is great. I've really liked those two tools. We got it out the first time and were using it to clean off a couple of tables and chairs on our front porch. Next we were cleaning off the dust on the vinyl siding on the porch. Works for boards, old boats, and kids toys

We were able to use this power washer to wash the heavy grim off an old boat, winter dirt from kids' toys, and a good cleaning of dirty boards.

Keeps shutting off, time after time after time

Bought this last fall, just got around to using it this past weekend. Wish that I had tested it out last fall, as it's too late to return it now. Literally, it just keeps shutting down after 30-45 second, whether hooked up to a hose/spigot, or using the included hose out of a bucket. Not sure if it's the trigger issue that many others have mentioned, or if it's some other problem. And it's not for lack of strength pressing the trigger: I'm 6'3", 225lb. VERY disappointed.

does not stay on

I was looking forward to using this for small stuff instead of our gas powered one. The problem is it will work for a minute or two then stop, not stop water from coming out but stop high pressure. I tried stopping and letting it build pressure but then it does the same or it will stop right away again. Does the same with both using a hose or a bucket of water

Worst Product Ever Purchased

I'd give a zero stars if I could. Kobalt already makes shoddy products but this takes the cake. Barely any pressure, pieces came clogged or dirty out of the box, had to disassemble and reassemble every time I wanted to use it because the pressure built up in the house wouldn't allow a trigger release. It's awfully designed. Look elsewhere.

It does not work as good as you thank it would and it has some kind of motor in that comes on and stays on after using it and it never shoots off even after taking the battery out and putting it back even after living it out for a day. This is the second one that has done that to me. It is also heavy to try to use to wash a car and does not do a very good job at it also. Now wish I never even got it.
