Sturdy, multifunction, and bright!

If you want to see at night like it's daytime, this is the flashlight for you. The magnetic base makes it hands free so you can use your hands to work, not hold the flashlight. The pivoting head is very convenient. And this is the brightest flashlight I've ever owned. Well worth the money!

50/50 reliability, poor warranty service

I bought 2 of these a few months ago, One is working well, and the other only lasted a month. The light would not turn off unless the battery cap was unscrewed and the switch would not turn it off or change settings. I took it back to Lowe's and asked for an exchange or refund. The manager would not do either and advised that I needed to contact Kobalt to get a return authorization number, even after I pointed out that it says "lifetime warranty" on the web page.
