If your Kobalt 20 in 40 V mower is 3 years old or older, this blade will not fit it. I called Kobalt they gave me 2 part numbers for the same blade that will not fit. It has circles instead of arrows. Shame on Kobalt and Lowes too! Won't purchase anymore Kobalt products.

I found that there were multiple manufacturers of this mower which used different blades. Mine was apparently Greenworks, so I ordered their blade and it fit perfectly.

Would Not RecommendNo matter what the site says, this is not the correct product! This is the one that is supposed to fit, but doesn't. Guess it was a mistake to buy this mower since you can never replace the blade on it. Now I have to drive to store and return it. Buy GreenWorks or Ryobi!

Does not work for model KMP 5040-06
Would Not RecommendI talked to Lowe's support and they assure this would fit model KMP 5040-06. It does not, it doesn't even line up properly. Quite frustrating, now I have to return to the store and still have no solution for a new blade.
