Diagonal cutters

I’ve had a set of these for years . Used them a lot while working in the coal mines . Now I’m retired so I don’t use them as much . I loaned them to my wife so she could cut wire for flower arrangements and then she talked me out of them . I brought this one to replace it . I offered her the new ones but she likes the old ones . They still cut like new so she didn’t choose wrongly .

Do the job exactly how they should

I know some times seeing a more “store” brand especially kobalt can be a little bit of a turn off but these aren’t a high end tool that needs to handle certain abuse every day In my carpentry work I have them to cut nail ends or pull nails through wood at a different angle than with my kobalt flat face pliers. The ergonomics are very good and they do the job just right with a perfect size for your bag
