Good smaller tabletop sliding tile saw

Great option for DIY'er doing smaller job with AVG sized tiles. Make sure to note the maximum tile size it will support. Easy to use and works as expected. Note this is a wet saw.

Try something else

First one was damaged right out of the box, couldn't use it. Next one was intact, so put it together, and attempted to use it. First off the guard gets in the way and deflects the cut making it slanted. Second the table moves only halting, and roughly, making cuts difficult. Third the blade is is very thick, making cuts difficult, and has a tendency to flake the surface or wedge and snap the cut. Not good for larger tile

28" x 10" ceramic tile. It seemed to be an "affordable" alternative to paying a lot more. My little $50 cutter just isn't big enough. I thought about exchanging this one at first, but naturally, when you "want/need" a tool NOW, this was the ONLY one in stock at my local LOWES stores. Unbelievable value , I would recommend this tile saw for any do- it- your selfer ,easy to set up compact design and easy to use.

Love the upgrades made since my last saw.

Had to replace old saw due to a short. The upgrades to this model make it safer and cleaner to use. The clear cover over the blade makes it easier to see the cut. The sliding platform and guides allowed greater control of the tile. I did not even get wet or dirty while using.

Looking forward to great projects

This seems to be perfect for my hobby. I like that it will not take up much room in my little shop space in my garage. I haven't opened it yet-but am excited to get it set up.

Tile saw

Worked smoothly accurately, and very safe to operate.

I managed to rip rip 6 pieces of tile that measured 47 inches long. I would by this saw again.

Flawed and useless

The sliding table is higher than the other side, so every tile breaks before the cut is complete, every single cut i have made breaks 1/4" from completion. Do not purchase, it is completely useless junk.

I have used many tile saws, big and small, and this one is impressive. There are quite a few similar units from many sources, even brand name, yet this stands out. I already have two 7 & 8 inchers from Ridgid and Kobalt, plus a similar Ridgid model, which itself impressed me a few years ago (I bought 3) as a portable workhorse for smaller tile jobs that I could bring right into the immediate site...
