What Customers Are Saying
This compact trimming plane is suitable for light planing and touch-up work, but has some limitations. Most users found it effective for small jobs like trimming, scraping, and easing edges, and appreciated its ease of use. However, some noted difficulty adjusting the blade and felt the small size made it challenging to control for more demanding tasks. A few reviewers also criticized the overall quality, with the blade needing significant sharpening or the design feeling "sloppy". This appears to be a budget-friendly tool best suited for occasional light planing rather than heavy-duty or precision woodworking.

Would Not RecommendThis plane iron isn’t even close to sharp from the store and the surfaces are like Everest and the Mariana trench. Will take you a LOT of work to get the surfaces of the iron and plane flat and then sharpened. Probably not even worth the work since the metal is horrible quality. Cheap Chinese crap.
small for a woman's hand!
Would RecommendI think it will be worth the money for what I am using it for...but haven't had a chance to use it.

great tool
Would RecommendToo many negative reviews. Ive got one that ive had for 25+ years. Its a great little plane. People complain, because they want a 75 dollar plane, for 10 bucks. Use the right plane, for the job. I have 9 different types of planes, they all do a specific job. If you need a small plane for little jobs, scraping off a paint ridge, planing a small piece of wood trim, etc. this is the tool. I bought another one today, ( ive worn down the old ones blade, too much. The sharpening place, said they cant ...
Great tool
Would RecommendThis tool did exactly what I wanted and expected it to do.
It worked pretty good once adjusted. Had to use pliers to turn the adjustment knob. Because it is so narrow to hold, please watch out for splinters.
Not really good
Would Not RecommendI bought this to replace my 3” Stanley hand planer and it doesn’t work anywhere near as good. The blade was barely sharp enough and I’m pretty sure it was backwards from the factory cause I had to flip the blade around to get it to cut clean even shavings off the board edge and even though it worked a little better that way it still took way to much effort to use and it’s very bulky and heavy and it hurts your hand because of it’s awkward shape I’m not kidding I really thought it was going to be...
Nice little plane
Would RecommendI had a 32" long red cedar board I needed to put a 1" wide, 30 degree bevel on, and this little plane worked quite well, better than I expected for the money. Fits in the hand easily for good control, and like a lot of people I don't expect to use a plane again most likely for a long time, so I like that it takes very little storage space. Yet I have a plane the next time I do need one. Recommendation - place the unit on the side and unscrew the tightening knob enough to free the blade, push t...

Perfect size
Would RecommendI don't do much woodworking, but I needed to match up some framing around a pocket door, so I bought this small planer. It did exactly what I needed it to do and I can keep it in its package in my toolbag.
