Would Not RecommendFirst use and it powers on for 10 seconds. After waiting 30 seconds or so it will power on for 5-10 seconds and then shuts off. Took it back to Lowes for an exchange but they wanted me to pay the difference in cost. I purchased it when it was on sale and now it's $189 full price. They claim it couldn't be exchanged as it would need to be ordered and purchased as priced today. Total garbage and I'll look at other Home improvement stores.

I live one 2 acres so I use this around my house and the battery lasts long enough to get the job done. Overall, it's a good weed eater and definitely a great price if you are already in the Kobalt line of tools.
