When it worked, it worked great, but ...

It worked great, then one day the light went floppy. The neck broke - I tried to fix it an no luck. I tried to return and the same thing! Avoid!!!

I buy my boyfriend different flashlights quite often. I bought this one 2 years ago and he still loves it!! He asked me recently if they were still for sale. I checked and they are no longer available. Kobalt please bring them back!! I have other people in the family who would really love to have one!!

the kobalt hypercoil light is one of ,if not, the best flashlight to owned. I bought one during the promotion period for about $17.98. It got lost or stolen. since Lowe's stop carrying it, I now see amazon carrying it for $150.00. what a big jump!!!! How did that happen?

Great Farm Help

Aside the two design flaws (male:male w/ female interconnecting ring, and detachable cap) this is my favorite farm tool!! It holds a charge long enough and then some and right now I am using it to light a farrowing pen for little piglets. I was so tired of needing a flashlight and the batteries were dead. Then you throw out batteries which were almost never used and replace them knowing that they will sit in the flashlight and die before they are properly used. And those times you need a flashlight for more than 15 minutes, well battery flashlights will fail you there. Kobalt Hypercoil Flashlight is indispensable!

They list it as a 'handheld' but the beauty of this flashlight is it is 'hands-free' ! This is a photo of my step father patching plaster on a dimly lit ceiling. Doesn't get any better than this. You can also coil it on a surface and aim the light exactly on whatever you are working on. Brilliant!

As a flashlight - very good.

I've had this product about a year now & it's very durable. Been dropped many, many times with no effect. One of the magnets did fall out a couple of months back, never did find it. Don't use the flexible hose as the light seemed to heavy to support it. The only other issue with me is the button to turn it on & off is to small. Most of the time I have to hunt for it. Other then that button it's a great flashlight, as I use it just about every day.

I bought a handful of these Kobalt HyperCoil LED lithium ion flashlights when they were on sale at my local Lowes for less than $8 each. A store associate told me they were normally $35 but they had such a high return rate from people not able to figure out how to recharge the Lithium Ion battery (plug is under the tail cap) that they wanted to close them out. Great Gift

I bought 3 of these things, one for myself, another for my fiance, and one for my brothers birthday. Mine will be in my toolkit and is great for under the car, my fiance's is staying in her trunk in case she gets stuck somewhere, the strobe is very strong and works great as a roadside marker. My brother likes his so much he uses the tiniest excuse to go grab it and show it off to people.

Excellent Flashlight

Bought one just to check it out for one of my vehicles. Wasn't sure if I needed another flashlight but I just wanted to try it out so it was an impulse buy. Handy item for any work area

This unit is exceptionally bright and adjustable to any position. What is really unique is that in addition to being rechargeable, a spare battery pack and be used with standard batteries. It has been months since the unit has been charged and is still bright as ever. Though a holster/pouch is available, the only suggestion I would make is to include some type of pouch for the extra battery pack to prevent damage, a belt type of unit would be most appropriate in the event the charge runs out in ...
