a great tent that i use for car camping for one. with my mattress and gear it's roomy and comfortable. the double vestibules provide a convenient space to keep extra gear dry and out of the elements, plus extra space to put your boots on before greeting the morning. like any tent, the included stakes are usable but would be better off upgraded to something stronger. the wrap tore when I was packing it up, but still usable.

Awesome 2-man tent

This tent has been a good find for my backpacking kit. I have loved that I don't have to army crawl into it like I did with my last one. I can sit up without hitting my head on the ceiling, another bonus. It seems to be built to last and is sturdy while remaining lightweight. Weight is on the average to light side. There are definitely tents out there that are much lighter but far more expensive. While I agree that with backpacking gear "Buy once, cry once" is a good way to invest in gear, I was...

Stuck tipped

I've used the canyon 4 person about 5 times, got the zipper stuck in the rain fly almost everytime used it the last time was the last time and couldn't get it unstuck when camping.

Big tent and easy once you know what you’re doing.

Not the easiest tent I’ve ever pitched, but one you’ve done it and figured out how to pack it up again, it’s a great tent. It’s very spacious, and I appreciate the wind break, especially when camping in sandy desert.

Great and light weight

I've used this tent to camp in several places in Moab and across Colorado. The weight and size is good. The materials are light and its held up being on rock/dirt. My only gripe is the footprint is separate and that seems to be very much the key to the bottom not wearing out quickly. Overall, I would recommend it. I do like leaving the top off for stargazing and the zippers are pretty well constructed.

Klymit cross canyon tent

My son and I used it on an Elk hunt in cold weather and we packed back in the mountains. This tent is a little on the heavy side for packing in the mountains. It is definitely not a 3 person tent, maybe you could sleep 3 in warm weather if you only brought sleeping pads and light sleeping bags. If you are hiking way back in the mountains, my recommendation is you get a lighter tent and if there is three of you get a 4 person tent nd you might consider getting one that gives you the ability to us...

Great tent

Would Recommend

I bought this tent for the National Boy Scout Jamboree, but didn't end up using it until last week. I wanted a spacious tent I could stand up in for a week of summer camp with my troop. I love this tent. It was easy for me to set up alone, (I'm a 73 year-old woman), it withstood 2 microbursts with 60+ mph winds and 2 other thunder storms including sideways rain and didn't leak a drop. The secret is to put in every stake - including the guy lines and use a proper foot-print underneath it. I ...

Perfect for lightweight backpacking as a couple or small family.

Great tent! We have done 3 backpacking trips with it. It is lightweight and easy to set up. It held up to the test of snow and heavy rain.

Klymit Tent

Solid tent overall. Definitely not the lightest tent out there, but seems to be a solid option if you aren’t having to carry it for miles. Seems to keep the heat in as needed, but be advised you should definitely be prepared to put something between you and the tent, given that nearly all tents are not thick enough to prevent cold soaking the floor when in a colder climate area. Would definitely look at buying again for a reliable 2-3person tent.

2 person Tent

Set up is a breeze. Rucksack fits under the rain fly along with other gear. I wish I could set up the rain fly first, but I might be missing something there. It's extremely light weight and doesn't take up much space.

This was my second klymit tent and I was just as happy with it as the first. The almost vertical walls give you a lot of space that you wouldn’t have in a normal 2 person tent

Perfect for Fire Camp

Needed tent big enough to spend two weeks in while working out of a fire camp. This one fits the bill, while not being annoyingly huge. Seems well built and worked well on my two trips out this year.

cross canyon tent

We've taken this 2 man tent out a few times on backpacking trips. Most recently in Nov. Boy scouts were able to assemble with ease. Very light and compact. Only thing which I would change is the carrying sleeve. It can be a bit challenging to get the ends into the case.
