Doesn't live up to claims

This dishwasher claims to be quiet = it is not. It also claims to have "exceptional" cleaning performance = it has NEVER had EXCEPTIONAL cleaning performance. When we first got it, it did an OK job cleaning. However, this appliance is WAY overpriced. I got it specifically because it was supposed to be "quiet". Maddening experience

I purchased this dishwasher from Lowes 3 months ago. After many hours wasted on service calls and 2 different technicians coming out it still does not work. Unable to get any assistance through the extended warranty that I also purchased. How did this get through quality control? So disappointed in the brand I expected quality from, there is no end in sight and the money and time are simply wasted.

I’m writing another review because yet another month has gone by and we still cannot use our dishwasher. It has been broken for the majority of the time we’ve owned it. Broke after 7 days

Dont rely on Kitchenaid name for quality. I had a GE that lasted 12 years without a hitch. This dishwasher became totally nonfunctional in 7 days. It has an arm that kicks the door open a bit to let out steam so dishes will dry thoroughly. Now the arm sticks out and wont retract and no way to bypass it. Great value that works - clean and dry!

It's quieter than any other dishwasher I've had and my dishes are squeaky clean. I also like that my dishes are nearly dry. I have very little touch up drying to do. I haven't tested if it's good and getting gunk off but so far, we're happy.

Top quality dishwasher

This replaced my 20 year old dishwasher so to be fair a cheaper one would have been an improvement, however, I read a lot of reviews and as cheap as things in general have gotten I decided to go with a more upgraded model and not a $300-$400 model. We bought this dishwasher due to hearing good things about Kitchen Aid. That was a mistake. It worked fine for the first couple of months, then that all changed.
