So good we bought it twice!

When we moved into our new house, we didn't wait for the contractor grade one to die but immediately replaced it with the exact same KitchenAid model! I love the third rack for glasses and miscellaneous utensils, the lighting, the drying fan, and how quiet it is.

Love the redesigned rack system and interior lights. The dishwasher is somewhat loader than expected at this price point. This is why I gave it 4 stars’

Works great and looks beautiful

My only complaint is that the middle rack is too close to the bottom rack and I therefore cannot fit my large dinner plates that have fit in my previous dishwasher. I don’t like the way dishes are stacked in the lowest rack - plates have to be tilted or will fall over. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the dishwasher 1-2x a day. My bowls are 7 qt size and I can fit 2, but only on the right size. Design team: Minimize the depth of top 3rd rack on left side so we bakers and cooks can fit all our large, talk prep bowls and liquid measuring cups anywhere on the middle rack. Also, provide option for wider depth items on lowest racks. Many Pyrex and stoneware bakers should fit on bottom but do not, creating a back-up for getting dishes washed...

An amazing appliance!

It has three drawers, one moveable, but it holds so much more than any dishwashers I have had in the past. It is easy to function, and runs nearly silently. Most impressive are the three layers of water ejection, so the top shelf gets equal treatment to the bottom drawer. It is wonderful

Sparkling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a nice upgrade! We installed this dishwasher to replace one that broke, so it was urgently needed. This was a great decision for the closeout price. The three racks are great for cleaning more than your standard dishwasher and so far, it seems to do a great job tackling messy dishes. We feel the silverware basket could be designed a little better, but it is acceptable. That really is the only downside we see with this unit.

And it's so quiet. We have open concept home and do not need to turn up volume on TV while it's running.

Best KitchenAid Dishwasher - KDTM704KPS

It has a large capacity, thanks to the design of the third rack, which can hold small glasses and bowls.The LED lighting is great - who knew a lighted dishwasher would be such an improvement. And you can barely hear it running, it's so quiet. Most importantly, the dishes come out sparkling clean and dry, with no detergent residue. This is definitely our best dishwasher ever.

Mark the insulation on sides where it hooks to the unit. I totally missed this in instructions. 2. Feet coarse threads are really too coarse.
