My grandmother had one, passed it to my mother & now my sister is using it. Works just well as when I was baking with my grandmother in early 1960’s

Still Going Strong

I was gifted this mixer 7 years ago. It’s been amazing and has since taken on the task of being the only mixer in my cottage bakery. I have had to purchase stainless steel attachments, as the coated ones have since chipped. But other than that, it’s a workhorse!

Get the job done!

This was my first ever stand mixer. Versatile as well as easy maintenance. I’ve had it for five years and one of the best purchases that I’ve ever had! My husband surprise me and upgraded me with a new one!

Now I know what I was missing before I got it!

I have slowly been making more meals from scratch. I am now making bread with slow success. The mixer is definitely helping.

Very sturdy

Does a great job all by itself. But as I age it has become very heavy to lift.

Got this 3 years ago as a gift. Everytime I go to use my mixer, it's like brand new.

Great for mixing

It took me a little while to get used to the speed control and the need to start out on low speed so as not to fling ingredients out of the bowl. It’s also a little difficult to add ingredients while the beaters are moving, but it is very effective for mixing batters and great for whipping cream.

Buy the 5 qt!!

I bought this 3 years ago. It only took me 50 years to make up my mind! Now I wish I'd bought the 5 qt. The 4.5 is impossible to find replacement bowls and mixer attachments. I purchased the scraper beater for the 5 qt and it make the thing thump, tump, tumps around and around. Good thing the KitchenAid is heavy and durable!!! I'm putting the hand mixer on my list this year. I believe it will be more convenient for smaller, quick jobs. I let my friends and grown kids use mine before purch...

CHIPS IN FINISH

Especially since this is an expensive item. It works and everything but as someone who takes care of their things and cleans them well…it’s a bummer

Small but mighty

I finally purchased a Kitchen Aid mixer for myself after buying for two of my children. I see why they love theirs so much! It does all the work for you, especially making pizza dough and cookies! I have the 4.5 size and even though it’s just the two of us left at home, I wish I had purchased a larger size as I really give it a work out and I’m worried I’ll burn out the motor! But for the most part I’m content with the size I have. I’ve had it for several years and have not encountered any ...
