A couple tips...

We bought this model a couple years ago and it's great -- quiet, cleans well, etc. Good value. Our electricity to the house tends to spike and one time this caused the electronics on the operation panel to falter. The instruction book said to check the circuit breaker, which we did and the circuit breaker had NOT tripped. However, we learned to do a "hard reset" by turning the circuit breaker off and letting it stay off for about 10 minutes. Worked great after that. Also, the service man sugge...

Inoperable 13 months after install

This dishwasher is now inoperable after 13 months of light use (it's just my wife and I in our house). Called Whirlpool to get service - they want to charge me $400 to come fix it!! Feel like I have been ripped off. Getting a bit fed up with Lowes at the same time. Going to start buying from local folks - not large chains.

Whisper Queit

It has a greater amount of space and the adjustable upper rack opens up the bottom for large pots. Did I mention how quiet it is? 100% pleased and highly recommend this one.

We like it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We only had it a week, but it seams to be a great machine. the quick wash cycle could be shorter and the kick plate on the bottom could be longer so it reaches and covers the counter molding on each side. The door could be wider so it covers the entire opening of were the dish washer is pushed into the counter. We love how quiet it is, and how easy it is to clean the filter and how it dryes so much better than our other one. g h

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were not able to look at this dishwasher before it was included in our new home. Had we been able to see it in person, we never would have selected it. The immovable tines are positioned at distances that make it very difficult to easily or securely load casserole dishes, mixing bowls or pots.

Good cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the dishwasher that was installed in my brand new home at time of purchase-while it cleans very well I am very disappointed in the rack design-no way to adjust size of spacing, etc., though the upper does go up and down to allow for stem wear, but stemware does not fit very well in it as it tips over sideways a lot huge spacing in the lower rack makes the middle section almost unusable

Not happy

It's quiet and pretty, but it aggravates me in several ways. Unlike every other dishwasher I've had in 50 years, everything is wet when the cycle is done, so I have to towel dry everything. The silverware caddy on the side isn't convenient to load and unload. My steak knives and forks often get stuck in the holes of the caddy. The top rack is laid out strangely, so I have trouble filling it without wasting a lot of space. The spaces between the rungs/crosspieces are too wide, so I have a lot of ...

Okay but not great

My sister had bought one recently that I thought was similar except for the upgrade in color. There bottom rack has an abyss or gap between the front and back times that the dishes are loaded in between. It is like an unusable dead zone. Disappointed in the way it holds dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned Whirlpool dishwashers for over 40 years because they had the silverware rack in the door. When Whirlpool discontinued that feature, I decided to 'upgrade' to Kitchen Aid for a recent remodel. This is the worse dishwasher from a loading perspective I have ever had. It is impossible to put wineglasses in the glass rack, there are no stemware holders or support so the glasses just fall over. There is no good way to load cereal bow...

Steam damage

Front vent releases so much steam it causes damage to stainless steel front panel, looks terrible, also when it's opened as your emptying out the dishes it pours water from the vent all over the floor.

Disappointed- Design failures

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishes get clean but middle rack has extremely poor design- glasses won’t remain upright along second row and its middle slats are not angled properly; wine glass holders were missing. Bottom rack is missing middle section so there is a lot of wasted open space and I can’t fit nearly as much as I used to. I miss my Kenmore!

We're happy with this dishwasher

So Far So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Dishwasher in December 2025. I caught a great 50% off sale. So far, so good. I love the top utensil rack. I don't use a lot of utensils, so it frees up space in the bottom rack for more dishes. I only use glass dishes, glass plates and stainless steel pots. Everything comes out clean on regular wash, except for pots that have cooked beans....tough stain cycle is needed. Installation was super easy as well. Oh, it's super quie...

Rust on door side

Bought this dishwasher just 3 years ago and it is rusting already very disappointed in kitchen aid, this is not my first kitchen aid appliance none of my old appliances ever rusted, and now new appliances rusting in such short time it is just very disappointing, kitchen aid used to be premium kitchen aid appliance

Almost perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a nice unit. I purchased this to replace a 4 yr old LG that had a motor failure. This unit is super quiet. Only complaint was the bottom rack lacked adjustable pins so our dishes didn’t fit as nicely as the LG.
