Severe design Flaw

Great Dishwasher but with a severe design flaw, the handle broke right at the stress point. Happening to most of the users. Kitchen aid support is doing everything to make the process overly complicated to not provide spare parts which is disappointing. This is an high end product that should last several years, not break after 2.

Dirty Sludge

I purchased this dishwasher December 2023 Installed January 2024. After about 9 months of use racks would not glide well. I called for warranty service. Was told to change detergent and run hot water at tap before starting dishwasher. Unable to use delayed start function. Today is January 2026. Dirty sludge has become worse. Have run multiple dishwasher clean cycles still have sludge on rack glides. I can no longer recommend this appliance. I do believe the fine mesh filter with is in ...

Crack Display

Dishwasher model :KDPM704KPS1 Serial FB3201131 Nov. 6, 2025 Over all is a nice dishwasher but in my opinion the door handle has a design flaw. The dishwasher is only 36 months old and was only used for 29 months by two retired people and the door display has broken into two pieces. The door pull not being strong enough to prevent the handle from flexing causing the display to fail. I would not recommend this model do to the design flaw.

Very Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for a week now and am pretty happy with how quiet it is. It has cleaned well on the lower 2 racks but not very good on upper rack. The drying feature is really nice but still leaves some water on cookware.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace a similar model that started leaking after 6 years. This one has all the same features, runs a little quieter, and does a great job of cleaning. I have always owned Kitchenaid dishwashers because they do an amazing job of cleaning my dishes. Quality has gone down over the years. My first 2 lasted almost 20 years so I hope this one will too. 6 years is not long enough.

Kitchen remodel

We just remodeled our kitchen and upgraded to all SS appliances all KitchenAid they are all wonderful. The dishwasher is so quite and cleans very well!!

Great Dishwasher...Period!

This dishwasher is phenomenal. No more water in dish crevices after the drying cycle is complete and no reason to turn on the kitchen lights to place a glass in the dishwasher after dark since it has LED lighting...I never knew I needed that! Leaking

We have had this dishwasher for over a year and LOVE it. When we travel we miss it. It is quiet and cleans so very well!

Solid Unit

Perfection

I love the light inside the dishwasher and the status board in the front panel keeping me up to date on its status. This is my 3rd kitchenaid dishwasher in 18 years. I'm always pleased with its performance.

The Ultimate Dishwasher!

Very Nice

This is my 3rd Kitchenaide dishwasher in 17 years, love the brand. Very well made and washes dishes exquisitely. It's super quiet. The pocket handle doubles as a digital panel showing what stage the dishwasher is in when washing. The LED light inside is pretty neat also. Happy with Purchase.

obstructed holes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had for a couple weeks, and noticed that glasses in the top (3rd) rack where as clean. Then noticed that the rotating tubes to wash the insides of cups has obstructed holes. A small flap of plastic from the drilling process was covering the hole, I estimate 80% of the holes have this flap. I sharped the side of a length of wire to form an edge. Then I scraped the inside of the hole to remove the flap. I will know in a couple day if it w...

LOVE!

I never thought I would write a review about a dishwasher but this is the best one I have ever owned. I have the older model in my home and wanted to upgrade it. The light is everything and the third rack actually holds things more than silverware. The express wash takes 1:10 and does a great job. Between this and my LG fridge I have my favorite new kitchen appliances.

Kitchen Aid Dishwasher is the bomb.
