[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most powerful dishwasher I have ever owned. The quality is unmatched. It is also the quietest machine; we forget that it was turned on. And as if that is not enough, the capacity seems bigger and it’s designed to utilize all possible space to maximize dish cleaning.

Arrives damaged....two in a row.

Over a month ago we purchased a similar dishwasher from Lowe's and when removing the protective cardboard box we discovered that the back of the dishwasher had been damaged and from the look of the damage it appeared as thought the damage was caused when the unit was moved with a forklift or similar machine. Creases on the outside of the box matched up with the damage to the dishwasher. We returned it and ordered another. It took nearly a month for the second dishwasher to arrive at our local...

Beware!

Have been a long time supporter of Kitchenaid, but now disappointed. Bought this in November and loved it…until it stopped washing dishes 4 months later. Can’t contact anyone for quick repair insights/suggestions. Everything done on internet with only able to request a warranty repair on-line. Then we waited for repairman to show up only to inquire midafternoon when he’d be coming and be told he was too backed up today (this after we had verified originally we’d be #2 on work list). Love this dishwasher

Beyond expectations

happy with my choice

We have had the KDTS424SPS for a month and love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced out Matag with this KitchenAid and we are very happy with it. We challenged it with baked on pasta dishes and it really did clean it completely with no pre-scrubbing! Our only critique is that it is too easy to accidentally activate the buttons whenever you open the door to put something in.

Louder and smaller than previous 400 model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a 9 year old 400 model that broke (pump burned out) so I got the “same” one. It is noisier and not as deep. Used to be able to line up several water bottles and still have room. It does clean fine but that was sort of expected.

So quiet! Love the 3 tiers!

Love the dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that when I run a load at night it will pop open after it is finished so it doesn’t stay closed up with any wet dishes. I do not like the time it takes for a normal cycle but I am afraid most dishwashers are like this now.?

Exceeds expections!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new dishwasher was installed just over a month ago, and I have to say I am very pleased with it. Following a cycle, all dishes are clean without any baked on items remaining. It is very quiet and with an open kitchen/living room combination, lack of sound from the kitchen is very important. I'm very happy I replaced the old dishwasher with this one.

RACKS ARE POORLY DESIGNED

Now there is no place in the dishwasher for my small flat items. The second rack is useless for cereal bowls. I can now get about 70% as many dirty dishes in the machine s am having to wash nearly twice as often.
