Disappointing Reliability from a Brand We’ve Trust

We’ve owned multiple KitchenAid refrigerators over the years, including the previous generation of this model, so we came in with pretty high expectations. LOVE this fridge!

White refrigerator with silver handles looks great in our kitchen with white cabinets/SS Appliances. Very clean lines. Interior icemaker and storage laid out well We only wish the plastic bin drawers were more substantial. They are a bit flimsy Overall, very happy with this unit.

The water dispenser is kind of akward.

Its was a great deal.

Spacious, easy to clean

Great Fridge

Nice frig.. with reservations

My last frig was a Kitchen Aid and was till working fine when I sold my house. I'm not keen on the handles because they stick out so far which really offsets the whole reason for the counter depth. Perfect Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great unit. Just wish the freezer had more holding power. Inside water feature is nice. The size fit perfectly in the designated space I had. One of the main reasons I purchased this model. Can you send me a video on how to change the water filter if available. I’ve always been a Kitchen Aid appliance customer. Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher and microwave. Very satisfied with them all.

Very Nice but Loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great, the room is great but it is very loud when the ice maker is working. Love how it has a reminder to close the door if it isn’t closed all the way. Hopefully the fridge lasts a long time

Don’t waste your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 10/25. Water dispenser dripped immediately. Whirlpool has been out 5Xs, replacing one part at a time. It’s now 2/26, still drips and another wait for part response.This will be 6 visits over 4 months.

Disappointed

Disappointed in the quality of this refrigerator. After 7 years had to replace with the same fridge due to difficulty finding size. The new model is very cheaply made. The drawers are very flimsy. There are small details that have been overlooked compared to older models. There are screws that show on the side of the shelves (see pics of old and new) and also the door hinges on the bottom of doors are stainless steel whereas the old ones were black and looked a lot cleaner (see pics). Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We spent more money thinking the drawers and shelves would be nicer than the current standard. We were wrong. After just four months the “stainless” is rusting. We have all stainless in our kitchen so this is not a moisture issue. The drawers have no guides and just flop around when opening and closing. The shelves can’t be changed because of a horizontal bar in the middle of the unit.

Looks Great But .....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great but inside drawers are not very stable. They move around when opening/closing - service tech says there is no fix. Temperatures for inside and freezer are consistent, noisier that same 20 year old KitchenAid model we replaced. Do not like fixed divider in the freezer which prevents us from freezing larger items.
