Heavy duty kitchen monster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace a smaller one. This is heavy duty and I use it all the time. Only issue I've had is the multi use blade snapped which I replaced. Other than that its been 8 years and still going strong! Love kitchen Aid!

My New KFP1333ER stopped working the 6th time I used it.

I bought this food processor to replace my 20 year old Kitchen Aid food processor with a larger one. I am sad to say that the unit that I purchased in December for holiday baking no longer works. It will not even grind up graham crackers. I had to fall back on my 20 year old unit. I have a kitchen full of KitchenAid and this is the first once to fail in less than 4 months.

So disappointed...

I bought this food processor a few years ago to replace a cheap food processor (La Machine) that I had used for years. I hardly ever use this new food processor because, quite frankly, I hate it! Something simple like shredding carrots creates a lot of waste with much of the carrot not shredding but ending up in the bowl or stuck between the bowl and the bowl cover along the top. When using the mini-bowl to chop nuts, a lot of the nuts ended up on the rim which created a nice mess on the kitc...

Hate it!!

I have used this appliance a total of 3 times. After that, matter what I do it will not turn on; other people have verified that I have everything locked in place as it should be.

Great for canning season

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this as a birthday present and used it for a family caning weekend. It did a great job with tomatoes, onions, and peppers. I wish I had this when I did jam a couple of weeks ago. The box for the blades doesn't latch securely, but otherwise, this seems like a great addition to my kitchen.

Wonderful way to get work done faster!

I have had my food processor for a while. It is a great way to save time & hard work when making kraut. I love this so much. So many other great uses for this great product.

Blade already boken

I bougth this foodprocessor 2 years ago and the multipuporse blade is already broken.since the warranty only cover one year ive been trying to find a replacement part on kitchenaid's website and they dont sell theses anymore.So im more than disapointed with my purchased. Will never buy kitchenaid products again.

Not at all what I expected

I started with the Professional line series. After 3 years the second of two machines also broke. I went to this 13 cup processor after calling customer services AGAIN. Now a few years have gone by and the locking handle has come off in my hand. Making the 3rd processor in 7 years only used for holiday baking.

I wanted to love this.

I wanted to love this, but hate it. The last 2 times I tried to use it I could NOT get it to work. There are plenty of other reviews with this same frustration - all myriad parts are lined up and it WILL NOT TURN ON. Am returning it ASAP.

Not up to Kitchen Aid Standards

This food processor is awful for grating. It leaves 1/4 of the food in large chunks, and will not be able to shred. This is a very disappointing issue, as most of what I would use a food processor for is shredding or grating!

Heavy-duty processor

I've used this unit 10 times now and like the product. I previously had a Cuisinart Original for 10+ years and decided to try a Kitchenaid. What could be better with this product: it is hard to clean all of the nooks and crannies, and impossible to dry. I like that is has a seal but concerned that it will dry out quickly or worse, food will get caught in it an I will have to remove the seal every time I clean. Perfection

I upgraded to this from my mini "other brand name" food processor. This Kitchen Aid 13 cup food processor is perfection. It is suprisingly quiet considering the power of the motor, and it blends everything so well! I've used it to make hummus, pesto, dips, and sweet potato chips so far and it hasn't disappointed me yet.

KitchenAid is the only brand for me!

What a wonderful appliance! This food processor makes my work in the kitchen so much easier, it works even better than I imagined. Over the past few years I have replaced all of my appliances with the KitchenAid brand,including my dishwasher. A friend came to visit recently, looked around my kitchen and said, "it looks like a commercial for KitchenAid in here! I just love it!". Thank you for making products that I can depend on year after year!

I miss it

the motor stopped working. contacted the company. they are supposed to be sending a new one. I sure hope so. I miss it.

13-Cup Food Processor

I bought this product and have used it several times. It saves me a lot of time, shredding and slicing. It a great time saver.

So quiet! Yet so powerful!

My previous KitchenAid food processor was 12 years old and served me faithfully as a hard worker for all that time. So when it came time to finally (tearfully) retire it, I chose KitchenAid again. This new food processor is so quiet and yet seems just as powerful as my original. I ask a lot of my appliances and KitchenAid has never let me down! We're building a new home and all the appliances will be KitchenAid. Major and minor appliances, my whole kitchen is KitchenAid!
