Beautiful red burr grinder

The grinder works excellently, grinds perfect coffee for espresso machines as well as drip coffee maker. It is very quiet and looks great, matches my other kitchen aid appliances.

Easy and Simple

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and I. It is extremely easy to use and takes just a few seconds to grind the beans for each cup of espresso. I should have gotten this years ago.

The Kitchenaid Burr Coffee Grinder is the best grinder we have used. It grinds effortlessly, and quietly. The grind is very easy to adjust. Highly recommend!

Good Product BAD support

Love the product hate the service. I’ve tried calling and messaging support to get a replacement top hopper that broke but can’t through to anybody for help.

Sprays grounds everywhere

Originally very impressed, after 18 months it sprays coffee all over my kitchen. The "ion generator" in the specifications doesn't exist as a part, either to replace or to clean in the guide. In fact the only thing it says is that if it malfunctions in the first year, you get a new grinder. This smacks of a design flaw. Didn't waste your money

Great until it wasn’t

Worked really well for a little over a year. As it was out of warranty I pulled it apart to see what happened. The worm gear on the motor had stripped. It seems that replacement motors are not available.

It grinds the exact amount of cups I need and is fairly quiet, so I can use it in the morning while others are asleep. It's also nice that it doesn't take up too much space on the countertop. I also love the blue digital display! It's fun to use.

Excellent Grinder

Great Grinder

Preset memory failed after only 1 year! :-(

We use this grinder for espresso, portafilters, etc., over 99% of the time. Shortcomings: 1) Purchased approx. 2 years ago. Preset memory for grind time FAILED after one year! (only useless, default values! Cannot reset, change, etc.!) :-( 2) As nice as the portafilter holder is, its use creates an unacceptable mess! Workaround: we use a wide mouth plastic filter that fits the machine perfectly (with the portafilter on the base). No gaps! No mess! With those shortcomings noted, we do like thi...
