Would Not RecommendKuerig coffee makers are expensive, poor quality wastes of money. Machines do not function correctly most of the time. If you enjoy visiting customer service for exchanges, or like to waste time on customer service calls, buy one. Otherwise, stick to higher quality makers that will work for years!

Not very impressed

DIES after 2 yrs ....
Would Not RecommendOwned previous model and replaced that one with the most recent version; 2.0 - K550. 2 years later, its not working. Water not pumping out correctly, if I can get it to pump at all. I've always maintained the machine when prompted and changed the filer every 3 months. To have it broke in 2 yrs is Ridiculous for the price you pay or these things! I wont buy another Keurig! In 4 yrs I've Paid out over $400 to have them in the trash!

Taking a step backward, don't bother buying
Would Not RecommendReally disappointing. You cannot change the brewing temp like my 1.0 . There is no setting the default brewing size, so every time you make a cup you must change the preset size of 8 oz. Has silly proprietary Keurig kcup sensor, so you can't use "other" companies kcups. Takes forever to brew a cup, almost twice as long as my 1.0 and constantly and loudly pulses during the brew cycle. Would Not RecommendI owned a Platinum since June 2013 and loved it until it started short cupping me and asking to be de-scaled every 5 cups. I contacted customer service and they offered me a K550 for a pretty good discount since mine was out of warranty. I was skeptical because many I know do not like their 2.0s. Does not preform as advertised!
Would Not RecommendIn the beginning the 550 model I had worked fine with the K-Cups that came with it but would not work with all other 2.0 K-Cups that are available and would end up with coffee grounds in my cup. We had a different model at work and it used all K-cups available and this is the reason for my purchase. I have since returned my coffee maker.

Hot Water troubles....
Would Not RecommendI'm not sure if it's a product defect but does anyone else have trouble with dispensing hot water from their unit??? On the older units you push the button and the water heats up and dispenses. On my Keurig® 2.0 K550 Brewer unit, I have to hold the dispense button down the entire time in order for it to dispense. If I let go, it stops dispensing. NOT a happy camper about this.

I hate this brewer
Would Not RecommendThis nevers brews a full carafe of coffee. Been on with service dept 2 times, they are now sending me a new machine. The kcups work fine most of the time, but the carafe pods never work, the make a bout 1.5 cups of coffee and stop. Its a complete waste of money to buy the carafe pods to only get a kcup worth of coffee out of it.

Worst Keurig Brewer I have ever bought!
Would Not RecommendI have owned 3 Keurig Brewers. The best one was the platinum. There are many issues with this Brewer: 1. About 80% of the cups I brew have coffee grounds in my cup! Yuck! I have never had this issue with other Keurig Brewers. 2. Coffee is only warm, not hot! 3. Need to de-scale a lot and the solution is expensive. I have to de-scale monthly and clean/wash the Brewer every day. I make a cup of coffee, then run the hot water to get coffee grounds out for each cup I make and I still end up with gro...

Would Not RecommendI was SO disappointed to find that many of the K-cups I have on hand cannot be used in this machine. They designed it to reject all brands except Kuerig. I don't know if this is true for all the new Kuerigs. There are plenty of other brands of K-cups that are very good. It seems the company is greedy, if they refuse to let it's customers choose other brands. I wish I had not bought this one.

Would Not RecommendI purchased this machine after my original Keurig died. I like this originally, but after a few months the machine needed to be cleaned constantly. It comes with a special device for cleaning so I'm guessing the designers knew this would be a problem. The problem is, when it needs to be cleaned, the machine keeps running until all of the water is dispensed from the reservoir. Would Not RecommendOur latest of 4 machines since 2012 just bit the dust. We love the convenience of the Keurig but it does come with a cost. The new 2.0 machine has been troublesome and temperamental from the start. We hate that we are replacing it just because we have a bunch of pods that we don't want to see go to waste. Would RecommendI recently complained in a review about this Brewer. The coffee and tea that I brewed did not come out hot enough and resulted in an unsatisfactory beverage. Keurig replaced my brewer and I must say there is a positive difference. The brewer was obviously not working up to par and the replacement Keurig is functioning as I expect a Keurig product to. The replacement process was an easy and convenient one. Thank you Keurig for your excellent customer care and prompt resolve to my problem.

Would Not RecommendBought one and took it back order one online, the older style that I liked. When it quits working if I can't get another one, I will go to a different brand or back to perked coffee. I refuse to use one of these with their proprietary Kcup ONLY limitation. Didn't make it 1.5 years!
I've had this machine since my last one died (it died less than 30 days after the 1 year warranty ran out). First, it never would properly dispense plain hot water (you would have to press the button multiple times to get a cup of hot water...like for tea, etc.). Then, yesterday, it completely quit working...as in no display on screen at all, nothing. I called in this a.m. to find out what my options are.
