Poor build quality and dismal warranty service

We've had this dishwasher for a year now. The build quality is incredibly poor. After just 11 months, the thin plastic bracket that holds the control buttons in place cracked, causing half of the buttons to fall down inside the door. In addition to the cheap internal brackets, the racks are awkwardly designed and came with faulty welds, which causes the upper rack to jump off its tracks when loaded with dishes. Don't buy, not a good dishwasher

Let's just say this is not a very good dishwasher. It doesn't dry the dishes very good, evening if you set it to extra dry. Recently I am having to reset the breaker to even get the dishwasher to work every time I have to start it. Also, after about two days after a wash it stinks very bad inside. Please stay away from this dishwasher.

I LOVE this dishwasher. All the cycles are a little overwhelming but it was better after I reviewed the manual. I used it for the first time on normal cycle. I emptied the dishwasher 2 hours after it finished. Dishes came out squeaky clean and the inside of the dishwasher including dishes & cups were completely dry. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher. Very quiet.

Looks good, difficult to use

We have previously owned Kenmore items and loved them so bought this. We did buy it sight unseen which is on us. I know better now. Also please note all the positive reviews on this machine are promotional reviews and it seems like they just looked at the machine freestanding, did not use it. So take them with a grain of salt. Looks good, difficult to use

We bought this, sight unseen and that may be the issue here, but we're not thrilled. We picked Kenmore because we've had Kenmore appliances for years and love their dependability. Time will tell if this dishwasher lasts, but it's so frustrating to use we may replace it sooner than we'd wanted to. The racks, specifically the middle rack have very defined shapes and levels. The door feels to lite weight and sounds hollow. The option buttons worry me that water would penetrate and short out the electrical. Wish this unit had a heating element to dry.

Great dishwasher!

I think this dishwasher would be a great replacement for my current model. I really like how the buttons are raised on the top of the door, as opposed to some of the other models with buttons that are flush. The little pull out tray at the top is also great for utensils and small items. I might use that more than the main basket at the bottom right. Kenmore is a quality brand, so I know it will hold up to heavy use in my home over the years.
