Beware! Only lasted 4 years! I lost a full freezer of food! I don’t recommend this product.

Short Life

The freezer has great space, but it only lasted just over 2 years before it gave out.

Don't Waste Your Money

Door gasket leaks after 6 months and ice forms inside freezer, Kenmore is no longer associated with Daewoo so no parts are available or can be purchased from ANYONE - complete garbage product with no resolution offered. Even Lowes won't assist.

DRT under 3 years

Dead right there at just under three years. Repair specialist cost about $140 for his diagnostic trip, after two broken appointments. Cost to fix would be $800+. In trying DYI repairs based on the written diagnosis, with part numbers, of bad control board, bad start relay and bad capacitor, found that OEM was Winiadaewoo Electronics America (not Kenmore). Stopped Working after 2 years

I don't expect appliances to last 20 years, but to die after 2 years is ridiculous. Avoid this brand/model.

Freezer works great until door seal sags and no longer seals at the 2yr mark. Freezer door gasket #30123-0013904-00 is discontinued from Manufacturer and there is no available replacements. Sorry Guys and Gals, THIS ONE US A NO GO...

Kenmore is a waste of money. Seal is leaking again

We bought original freezer in 2022. The seal around the door started leaking at the top about 6 months after purchase. The freezer was replaced per warranty. Now the freezer (replacement) has started leaking at the seal just like the first freezer. Ice forming all around the top of this frost free freezer. Warranty is out by a couple of months. Didn't last more than a year!!

Bought this freezer a littler over a year ago and as soon as the 1 year warranty period was over we started having problems with it. But we tried all the at home fixes kenmoore suggested but nothing worked. Then we found a part that would fix it but it's out of stock for consumers and is 6+ months out before they restock for consumers. However the kenmoore techs can order it. Quit working, lost about $500 in food

Loved it till it quit working after only 2 years and ruined all the food, about $500 worth of food was ruined. No alarm when temp dropped, just quit freezing and ruined everything.

Waiting for replacement

At 10 months compressor went out . 6 weeks later replaced compressor. 2 more weeks freezer went out . 4 weeks later said they will replace the freezer This is new technology and are using butane instead of Freon. I don’t think this has been perfected yet

Don't Buy

We've had this freezer for less than a year and it quit working this week. We lost several hundred dollars in meat. Sure, it may be covered under warranty, but that doesn't help with the meat we've lost.

Love this freezer! The storage drawers are deep and holds a lot of food.

Avoid kenmore, the warranty department sucks!!!

We purchased this deep freezer last March and it works well however the door seal lets in outside air creating condensation that then freezes. Major icicles inside and runs constantly to combat the heat coming into the unit. sent photos and receipt to the warranty department and for 2 months now they are looking for a tech in my area. You don't have a tech 45 min from DC. I would go with another brand if I were you!!

Failed after 4 months use!

Can’t get this repaired under warranty. Been calling Kenmore for 3 months and it’s still not fixed.

Still waiting on parts

Parts to fix freezer have been on order for months with no ship date in site. Every time we open the door it shuts off. This problem was confirmed by service. Help i have $2000 worth of pork and beef and don't want to loose it

Really Nice Freezer!

Big, substantial, nice drawers, it has a nightlight in the bottom front that turns on at night (really handy), and it keeps things rock-hard cold. Lowe's delivery guys were awesome too, very respectful of the house and the furniture and took their time and did the job right. We've had it for three months now and it performs extremely well.

Junk

Bought the freezer 5 months ago and the door seal/gasket went bad. Called Kenmore 9 days ago and they showed up today and said “Your door seal is bad!” Gee, that’s what I called you for 9 days ago. Now their “tech” is going to order parts and call us back. Who’s on the hook if my meat goes bad? Door is currently closed with a ratchet strap and duct tape to help cover the seal the the freezing air is leaking from
